I got thorn bounty!
Ok.. now what are the craziest parts?... is there like but 50 heavy ammo packs ore anything dumb?

7 RepliesI have the Thorn bounty as well. I just finished the PvP. If you would like to Xyor together just let me know a night that works for you. Psn Bamsgrill and lvl 30 Hunter. Have fun with the PvP.

The PvP is not that bad. If you aren't a strong PvP, only Control, either sniper or shotgun. Honestly I camped with sniper. Xyor is most annoying. In still in if

The last 2 parts are the hard part. You need 500 points from kills with Void damage ONLY. Kills give you 5 points ND death subtracts 2 points. I used a void shotgun and fusion rifle. Melee and grenades with a Void class also works. Play defensive as hell on Control. Aim for 12-15 kills per match with a 1 KDR or better. That should net you between 30-40 points per game. The last part has you go to a level 26 Phogoth run that has the Epic modifier, so expect a level 26 nightfall run. When you get to Phogoth kill every single enemy before damaging him. When you kill Every. Single. One. Only. Then. Attack. Phogoth. Xyor spawns on the 3rd tombship. Tombships spawn when Phogoth is at 75, 50 and 15 % health. But only. Only. If you killed enough adds from the previous wave. On roc strikes we commonly only spawn 2 Tombships because we kill Phogoth while adds are still up. If ya need help let me know.

12 RepliesYou will probably get the first part done doing the nightfall. Then the hardest part.... Crucible void kills, 5 points each, -2 points for each death. It is cumulative, meaning if you have a bad match you can lose points. This is the step I'm stuck on (FYI, I lost all the points I had accumulated last night.) I'm told the best and fastest way to do this is to get a 3 man fireteam together and do rumble matches, with two of the three running to the person with the bounty. I would totally be willing to participate in a cheesefest like this. Xyor can be difficult if trying to do it solo, with a team its not too bad. I helped one of the other dads (I forget who, I think Yuki was there) and its doable. If you want to cheese the pvp part with me we can do Xyor together.
