Expansion and Exotics

I came across this tonight on the main forums. So I'll be saving those exotic shards until after the expansion. For those who don't want to read the post in game informer, it simply states that in order to upgrade your exotics to match the higher cap the DLC content brings you'll have to pay 7000 glimmer, an exotic shard, and turn in the original item. What you get in return is a brand new un-leveled exotic. It also seems that Xur will only offer certain exchanges per weekend.
