Multiple same classes?

So after not running my hunter for more than a month, I decided to get rid of him. What should I do? What should I do? So I thought to myself, 1) I hate the look of my current lock and 2) if I could only get more shards from multiple vog/daily runs. How about another lock? So I decided to run with it and am making a 2nd lock. Anybody else doing this? Making multiple characters from the same class?
