My name is SorrowSong and I am a proud member of DoD Beyond (ps3 clan). Today's installment of DI will cover the Queens Wrath bounties, excluding the House of Wolves Story missions. [b]The bounties are a series of "kill" bounties requiring you to kill a particular target.[/b] These bounties are on a [i]weekly[/i] reset. Furthermore you will gain the standard bonus reputation for having completed the Nightfall, however unlike Iron Banner you will not get bonus reputation for having a Queen's Wrath shader or emblem equipped. You do have a random chance for Prison of Elders Token to drop once you complete the bounty; that token can be turned in either for a Ship or Shader from the PoE vendor. [b]There are basically two types of bounties both of which are completed in Patrol. [u]3 of each kind are offered each week[/u].[/b] [b]The first bounty type is marked with the House of Wolves[/b] glyph on a blue background which requires you to kill enemies already spawned into a certain area. Most of the time there is only around 10 level 28 enemies total for these events. These are worth 100 Queen's Wrath rep and some exp. [b]The second bounty type[/b] is marked with the silhouette of a Fallen enemy in black on a blue background. These bounties lead you to a particular zone. Within that zone there are Public Event-type well... events which occur at approximately 10 minute intervals. A Fallen Ship appears at one of a few fixed points in the zone; which one that particular time is randomly selected. You will get a message saying "[u]A Pack of Wolves is prowling[/u]" which tells you that the event has begun. Once you kill the initial wave of Scorch Cannon toting Captains you get a message saying "[u]The Wolves are frenzied[/u]" which tells you that the rest of the waves are on the way. Waves of Fallen will drop from the ship culminating in the target for that bounty spawning in on the last wave. Please note that until the Fallen enemies hit the ground they CANNOT be damaged by a Scorch Cannon. Firing the Scorch Cannon at the Fallen while they are still in the drop ship will deal no damage to them. Regular rocket launchers still work normally. [u]These events are on a timer, so if they are not completed they despawn and you will have to wait for the next occurrence. [/u] [i]I would very highly recommend bringing Arc damage weapons, especially an Arc Shotgun[/i]. There are a fair number of Fallen Captains and some of them have Urzok level shields. In some of the early waves up to three Scorch Cannons bearing Captains will appear; killing them will drop the Cannons for your use. If enemies, especially the bounty targets, get too far away from their spawn point they will teleport back to their spawn point. [b]Once you have completed the waves by killing every Fallen which spawned two things will happen[/b]; a chest will appear at one of a few places on the map and you will get a buff called "Ether Key" which allows you to get bonus rewards from said chest.[i] If you die, or are dead once the waves are complete you do NOT get the buff.[/i] In that case you still [b]CAN[/b] open the chest, but it will only give you the usual 49-ish glimmer and some Spinmetal. [i]The Ether Key chest is marked with a green column coming from the top of the chest. The column looks like the marking from the Fang of Ir Yut but is larger.[/i] [u]If you have the buff and open the Ether Key Chest you will receive[/u] 200-ish glimmer, Spinmetal and or ammo Synthesis, randomly selected Engram(s) a chance at a Prison Key [b]The Prison Key opens the Epic chest at the end of the Prison of Elders encounter.[/b] [b]*** WARNING *** You can only have a maximum of 5 repeat 5 Prison Keys in your inventory at any time. Any Prison Keys looted if you have 5 in your inventory will be forever LOST. Excess Prison Keys will NOT repeat NOT go to the Postmaster. *** END WARNING ***[/b] [i]With that said you can have 5 more keys in your Vault and 5 on each character for a max of 20.[/i] [u]These are the current bounties offered.
