Couples that game together...
STAY TOGETHER. Shiori127 is my significant other, my lover, and my gamer-girl. Today, we celebrated being a couple for one year. One of our (THE PRIME ASSEMBLY) members, SCUBA STEVE852, posted on our Group Wall, "Couples that game together stay together!!!" That gave me the idea to write a post, and see how many other gamer couples there are out there, and what they're like.
Me and Shiori live in a small town in California, and, like I said have been together for a year. We share the same taste in music, most food, but most especially, video games. (Except Borderlands. She loves it, I dont. lol) We both agree that time spent together playing games, is some of the best time spent together. So anyways, I'm curious, how many more of us are out there?

2 RepliesSame, but what's the deal with the lack of decent split screen games on new gen consoles? My girlfriend and I spent blurs playing splitscreen lord of the rings: war in the north on xbox 360 then traded it in for an xbox one and there's seriously no decent splitscreen !

My other half, the better half, is the love of my life in all honesty :) she's also the reason I'm not online a lot ahaaaa she is a gamer girl, a massive one at that, I mean we have two flat screens sitting next to each other with 2 360's and an xbox one :) but the reason neither of us are online that much is that I work (got to really lol) and the love of my life has a love of her life waiting to open its eyes for the first time :') we've been together for a while now, and have gamed all our lives. Atm she owns over 40 games for the 360 and every major title on the Xbox one, and not a single case is dusty. But I swear, our kid will know the workings of a controller before it knows the workings of a bike lol... Anyways my speech is over, but I wanted to let everyone know that Saturday is my allotted gaming day and I'm online for 12 hours straight

1 ReplyMy gamer girl us my beautiful wife of six years, Obsidian Angel1. We have been gaming together since we started dating 8 years ago. Up until recent times we spent most days playing survival horror games like resident evil and silent hill and dungeon crawlers like diablo and champions of norath. But she had recently started playing fps like CoD and now Destiny. It's great being married to someone who likes to game, but we also have to remember they are girls. They need time out of the house to go shipping and on dates. Don't lose sight if that.

My husband and I got married this last Independence Day (USA), but we've been best friends since 2009. Not only is he my significant other, but he and I are always a pair in games like these. :) Not much else to say, really. It's great to hear there are other couples out there gaming together!

We even have 2 tvs and 2 xboxes in the living room:) so we can grind out the destiny together most of our friends that see that ask if we're addicts haha Before this game I sat in the bedroom playing zombies and she sat in the living room playing skyrim, so now we have something we both enjoy and do it together

Thank you for writing this and my thanks go to anyone who posts here (positively of course). My wife and I game whenever we can, me more and she not as much. We play different games but sometimes join forces in MMO's. She doesn't play shooters, but target-based rpg's or MMO's and action-based stuff is quite fine with her. We got married in 1999 and have been gaming together circa early 2005 when we both fell for City of Heroes. 😀

My husband and I play Destiny together and game in general together. It's how we met in fact, even though he was in UK and I was in Canada. We have now been together 9 years, married 7 and have 2 little kiddos!

Me and my girlfriend have been together for just over six years now. Got her back into gaming because girls gaming was frowned apon in her family, though she always had an interest in it. Used to play emulators on my old laptop, fighting games mostly along with many classics before we were together. I had an original Xbox with Soul Calibur and Halo so that's what we played those a lot ha. Used to game together pretty much non-stop then they started cutting couch co-op/splitscreen games for online only co-op. Miss playing with her at my side, destroying the forces of evil. Now we just have to take turns until we can afford 2 new consoles and another tv. :/ A lot of good memories from gaming with her. :D So attractive screaming at noobs with her mic on LOL

My lady and I were playing destiny last night. We've been together for 2 years! Not just because we game together, but because we have so much in common :)

1 ReplyI would like to say that me and my wife most definitely agree with your post we have been together for 4 years nearly 5 and have been married for 2 of them and we also have most things in common apart from she likes titanfall and I don't lol. We love gaming together and also think that a lot of our quality time together has been spent gaming, although now we have a child we only game in the evening when he is in bed but still love gaming together.

1 ReplyIt's funny that I inspired this post, but my wife and I play destiny all the time! It definitely gives us great memories. We need to get ourselves another xbox one so we can play together though.

2 RepliesTomorrow I'm marrying my gamer girl. Been together 4 years now. She wasn't always into video games. But ever since I played the beta she's been hooked. She's logged more hours on destiny than I have.

My wife and I play all the time together. Bought a 2nd Xbone so we could become legend together. When we first met we started talking to each other on Facebook chat in 2008. She told me she had to leave to play Gears. I asked Gears of War and she said of course, what else. I knew we were meant for each other that day.

Less than a week I have our 4th year anniversary one day we will have a room we can both game in :)

1 ReplyI met my wife playing halo 2, I lived in the UK and she lived in the usa. Been married for over 6 years we have 2 awesome kids, we don't game as much as we used to, but we still enjoy it when we get the time.

My missus and i met on a game (Habbo Hotel) and became close over a few years, we have been living together as a couple for just under 2.5 years and have been gaming with each other before we even thought about moving in together. We own two ps4's and play destiny together everyday and i would not have it any other way.
