Edited by DeathWyvern: 10/9/2014 5:36:27 PMThere should be random types of team play, not just control. I think the balancing is good for what it does, providing accessibility, maybe make the defense a bit more steeper for very low level character s, but then again, I am not privy to the stats.

Either they decided to change how it works or its bugged. The level advantages are next to nothing or non existant compared to standard Crucible. My maxed out Last Word shouldn't be doing the same damage to a level 20 vs a level 30.

I for one want that sick cloak for the hunter.

I love the idea of the Iron Banner, rewards you for actually winning a match etc. Unfortunately those same things are the reason why its taken some fun away because I've already had a lot of people quitting mid game just because they are losing. In a death-match kind of game thats fine but with Control Point modifiers its tough to win when people are quitting (and I suck). Plus I was hoping for some more variety in the play list but to make it only Control matches? A bit disappointed :-(

I really liked it. I was using invective and could hold my own. The rewards screen sucks, but I really want that heavy weapon. The first shader does look sweet though. View profile to check it out.

Looked at the rewards, nothing I need/want outside of a shader... Not worth my time.

Edited by Blatantfool: 10/7/2014 2:06:25 PMMy opinion is that it's pretty much a waste of time. I mean, without playing a single match you already know that it's just going to consist of a bunch of ARs, Shotguns and Fusion Rifles being spammed left, right and center with a little rocket launcher or LMG sprinkled here and there. It's just more of the exact same content. The difference? Different Rep to grind to recieve even MORE gear that isn't actually useful because in the end you need full VoG Armor for Level 30. Honestly, the only thing of value Iron Banner is going to teach anyone is that it's true that you can just sit through a match doing nothing but moving slightly every 30 seconds and still get better loot then people who actually try. It's also less tedious, because you don't have to put up with just how ass PvP balance in Destiny really is right now.

Edited by JuggernautJake: 10/7/2014 3:00:20 PMI honestly don't notice much difference a part from feeling less effective... I am level 29 with a maxed out mythoclast and I feel I excel in normal crucible more
