Beta is set for February (VNGD)
So the beta is apparently coming in February! See the paragraph above the video of the hunter holding Gjallahorn.

Plus, IGN has been making itself a bit of an unreliable source on precise Destiny information, at least as far as this kind of precision. It sounds like this is just some more of their speculation, but they represent it as fact. I'm not calling them wrong, but when it comes to something like this I'm just going to fall back on the fact that they haven't given an exact source for that tiny bit of information. We're just supposed to assume that it's true. Early 2014 is more reliable, though less accurate. Even if they are correct with their statement, they said it was [i]planned[/i] for February. not that this really matters that much, it's just a broad statement of when a beta may become available

9 RepliesI was gonna guess January or February cuz March isnt really early 2014, its more spring, so I expect the game to be released in April... Most betas happen and then the game comes out around a month or longer after the beta, at the most probably 2 months after the beta but my best guess is the game will be released in April or May at the latest but my best guess is April, March seems to early and May seems to late, April sounds just right cuz when u think of spring u think of april which is gonna be enough time to get everything fixed that needs to be fixed, this of course is all speculation if the beta is in fact slated for February...
