This isn't anything specific to males, nor should anyone have a separate code of ethics when gaming. Treat people the same as you would IRL. Don't think of them as nameless AI in your game, think of them like someone at a LAN party, or playing split screen with you, and act the same as if you were looking right at them. Basically, treat them how you would treat anyone else, don't use anonymity as an excuse to be a douche.
