Interview of November 7th: MUshRUsh72

Recently I made the decision on behalf of my group the 413 and the beautiful crew of the Charons Dirge that I would conduct interviews for the community. This is my first interview and I must say I was nervous, but I excited to ask some questions to a fellow member of Bnet. When I first saw MUshRUsh72's entry I saw a normal guy. It was hard to pick out of some very interesting looking members, but MUsh is a father, in the military, and wrote a lot about himself. So I saw a guy who just was himself and I felt like I needed to share his story first. H: So I guess one of the only ways to start is by asking how did you end up here on Bungie? M: Well I started coming to BNET to try and get more info on Destiny mostly trying to collect codes. While surfing the forums I saw that Captain War was posting them up. I later tried to find out if more of the missing codes have been posted when a fellow BNET user told me to PM Captain War he might have some. After talking to the Captain I kept finding myself coming back to BNET, but not to look for codes, but to connect with the community. This is the first time I have ever used forums or a community like this and I am happy that everything worked out the way it did. H: I can relate to that. I've never been on forums before at all either. So you're excited for Destiny like the rest of us. Do you have any history with Bungie games like Halo? M: I do I have played all the HALOS and remember trying to set up online for the first xbox just to play Halo against people. Bungie has given me a lot of amazing memories with amazing friends. Bungie is truly an amazing company. Interlude: I gave a good 3 day limit because I know people have lives beyond BNET. So this one spanned over a good 2 days of me traveling and asking questions over Bungie mobile. At this point we both continued the next day on and off until late at night. H: So in your entry you said you were 28 with a family. That's awesome. Most guys over BNET that I've seen are about 20 or pretty younger. Do you ever get that feeling of "oh look at this little kid," does being on a site with a little younger gamers who have less responsibilities than you make you feel unique or does it even matter? (Not that I'm trying to make you sound old dude because you're not) M: No it doesn't bother me at all. It gives me a chance to share stories and talk to our future. I guess the best way to put it is I am not above anybody. In the military I deploy with 18 men and women so it's not a big deal. H: That's cool. So I have to ask, you're in the military. What's that like and why did you join? M: Very interesting with a family. I missed my youngest daughter being born due to being deployed. You miss a lot. I joined for the main reason that it was getting hard to find a job. I worked with mentally handicap before I joined and I started going to College for movie animation and graphic design, but I couldn't keep going because the school was too expensive so I joined the military. I didn't want to at first, but it seemed like my only option. H: That's very admirable of you and pretty cool. Okay so a few more questions haha. Next one is all about Destiny. Hunter, Titan, or Warlock? M: I am torn between Titan and Warlock. Titan is more my play style, but some of the space magic the warlock uses looks way more badass from everybody elses space magic. H:I know what you mean I'm definitely feeling Titan, but I kinda like Hunter. I'll know for sure when BETA drops. So we talked about Halo, but what's some other games that you absolutely love and why? M: I am a HUGE Metal Gear Solid fan. HUGE. I also like any FPS. I also enjoy some NHL14/GTA 5, I like a lot of games. All of the Uncharted games the list goes on and on. H: I'm in love Uncharted too. Elena <3. Anyways my last question for you is: With this next generation of gaming steadily approaching, what's the one thing you'd like to see happen more than any? M: Dedicated servers for sure I am so excited for that. But I'm really excited to see what developers can push the systems to do. I feel that developers didn't really push current gen but I really hope the step it up for next gen, H: I couldn't agree more. MUshRUsh72 it's been an honor and you've certainly earned a follower.
