Verify a user is a member of our group clan
I am writing a clan website and want to verify that a user that is signing up is a member of our clan/group.
I will have their xbox tag and their bungie name.
Is there a way to do this via the API?

2 RepliesI'm trying to do something very similar. I'm trying to implement a system where group members can sign up for raids in a more intuitive way. If you don't mind me asking, how are you getting the player's Xbox gamertag and bungie name? Are you just asking for them to provide them or are you authenticating them using their Microsoft Account?

6 Replies2 way: 1) get their account info, there is a Clan field in the response /Destiny/2/Account/[membershipID] 2) get your clan info and pull the member list /Group/[Clan ID]/Members/?currentPage=1&itemsPerPage=50 --> loop through the list to check if their xbox tag is in there
