New Inventory Endpoint
Was reviewing some of the recent changes, and in regards to the deprecation of the inventory endpoint, and asking us to move to the Inventory/Summary.
Are there plans to add more data to Inventory/Summary? The deprecated endpoint comes back with intellect/str/dis on the armor, and the perks for both armor and weapons. The new endpoint only has the primary stat, so it's quite a bit less info.
Am I looking in the wrong place?
How long will the Inventory endpoint be available until it's completely removed?

8 RepliesYou actually have to move to the /Items endpoint, the /Summary endpoint, now has a summary of your account (which also includes the items, but, has a lot more data that you might not need), in regards to having less info about the items than doing it the other way (the 1 network call per character plus 1 for the vault), that's totally true, and from what they have said on the forums, this is intended, this is meant to be a light weight call that gives you all the basic items information and only that (well, plus the characters data), so, if you need something more complete than this, i'll stick with what you have currently, but, if you are like me and think that the speed boost you get and the lower code complexity achieved by the new endpoint is bigger than having the perks, then i'll recommend to change it, just keep in mind that currently there's a bug in the end point and you only get your vault items. If you have any question, let me know, i already migrated all my app to use this end point and i'm just waiting for any word about the bug getting fix (which should be on or before the 22th of this month)
