Is there a .50 cartridge for automatic assault rifles, or are there only ones for semi-auto and single-fire rifles.

Idk about full auto but it could be made. Their is the Beowulf round. Their are conversion kits for AR-15's to make them into semi auto .50 bmg rifles. So if you designed the lower your self and modified the seer so that it was full auto and cut the barrel down by about a foot you would have a full auto .50 bmg assault rifle.

I loved how I could burst 2 rounds every fraction of seconds and the reticule wouldn't expand so you could shoot from a distance while everyone just held the trigger down and ran forward. There was almost no difference in dps except in Halo 4 where it was a slight bit slower. I dominated every game without utility weapon starts! And even then I still did pretty good. Also love how it's a 13 rounds to kill in 4, but that's the only thing I like about 343's Halo. I really hope there will be a similar weapon in Destiny.

Yep that's got to be one of my favorites as well. Right after the rocket launcher.
