Oh dear..

So, it's April 28th 2014. "The big reveal day" Only it's turned out to be less of a reveal and more of the same old crap. I am honestly fed up with this now. "Our mission was to explore a dilapidated ship refinery within Old Russia (the same area we saw at E3 2013)" That's the last straw. I am cancelling my Destiny Pre-Order. I have seen absolutely nothing since all this hype started that would lead me to believe this is something special. I was going to buy a PS4 for this game specifically, but that "mind blowing" reveal just blew that idea right out of the water. I'll be watching E3, and I will probably play the Beta on my PS3 now. Won't be logging into this website for the foreseeable future. Maybe if they prove they have created something other than what we have seen so far: A linear shooter, that offers considerably more customization options than you are used to. Then, maybe I will get a copy. But when I think about it even that much is not solid. Have any of you seen a character being created? No, just short bursts of gameplay in "old russia", the rest is just cut scenes... Reviewers having their legitimate (non-spoiler) questions drowned out by regurgitated statements about the future of gaming. Here is something I read earlier: It is a small section from a review on polygons website by Collin Campbell - "The interviews seemed highly scripted, with interviewees leaning heavily on obvious marketing hot-points about player freedom and technological innovation." Bang on Collin! Here is some more: "Bungie gave away very little. There was nothing about the game's story, its characters, its world, very little about its PvP modes. Much of the interview quotes are blandishments covering stuff we either already know, or diversions on issues that have been deemed off-limits. This was Activision looking for a free lunch; a pre-E3 publicity booster-shot." I feel mad about this just sitting here. Imagien (like poor Colin) you had had to travel for this... This. Well sod you too Bungie/Activision. It's one thing not giving to much away, but it is another thing entirely to talk about "mind blowing reveals" and FAIL. They are actually doing exactly the opposite, and hiding important information from us, the consumers. And look, if you don't like my take on this, tough. We are not here to praise Bungie Studio's at every turn (My name is not MoreCampConsole). They are here to please us. I've seen this movie one too many times to get taken for a ride again. Gearbox is loved for Borderlands. They are also well known for the lies and poor work behind Aliens: Colonial Marines. Enough said man, I'm done.
