The Past Remembered, Part 1

The sun was lowering on that day as the three moved quickly down the old destroyed buildings of Venus. The few Fallen that had been there lay strewn about dead from the onslaught of the three. The broken down car shells surrounding the area on which used to be roads and the large expanse of city was a sad sight to see. Something so great as the Ishtar Collective didn't make it out in time when the Vex attacked. But after this many years, which Envy didn't know how many they still laid there with the decaying bones of the deceased who were unlucky to be in the roads of that day. He flexes his hand slightly around the Handcannon in his hand and sighs slightly. He and his friends had be among those who didn't survive back on Earth. The details and their memories a bit fuzzy in spots, but they all knew that their lives ended many years ago when the Darkness first attacked. Just how long had he been dead and gone when his Ghost found him. Just how long was Angel and Demon dead as well, that they don't know, the passing of time is a cruel thing sometimes. He remembers his life before some of it anyway. He had been a civilian just like the many who died outside the walls that day trying to reach the Traveler for protection. He and his husband at the time where in the cars moving from their hometown. He squints behind his mask as he tries to remember the hometowns name. Though after trying for a few seconds he couldn't recollect what it was called. He did remember his husband though he was a human with dark brown hair and tanned skin, he was tall and muscular and was kind of gruff in his way of doing things. Peering over at Demon, Envy thinks that is maybe why he has feelings for the Titan even if the feelings are not mutual. He reminded him so much of Kir. Pausing for a moment he realizes he remembered his name something he has failed to do so many times. Kir was in his own way a nice enough person, the two fought sometimes, but they always made up in the end they had been together for. He trails off trying to remember how long it had been cursing himself slightly as he can't recall the years. Taking a seat on the edge of the old sidewalk that was Ishtar, he watches Demon and Angel chat a bit. They had only come here to gather some Spirit Blooms for the Vanguard and it would be easy enough to do when they decided to move, A lax mission if anything is to be said. The day he woke up next to Kir about to get up out of bed to ready himself for the job he was going to. Thinking slightly he tries to remember what that job was. Sitting up slightly he remembered he was a repair man. One of which who worked on cars and all kinds of vehicles. That explains why he enjoys working on his sparrow so much. Anyhow he gets back to thinking of the day, KIr had sleeply sat up as Envy, rather his old name was Faeleen, but things change with time he guesses, was pulling on his shirt and looked up to him. Kir yawns standing and walks up behind the Awoken, "Faeleen do you have to work today?" he asks as he wraps his arms around Faeleen holding on to him. Chuckling slightly Faeleen turns to Kir moving his arms around Kir's shoulders, "Well, I could skip one day I guess it wouldn't hurt anything," he gives the man a kiss and turns to grab his phone messaging the company he would not be coming in that day for he woke feeling sick and did not want to spread it around. Tossing the phone to the dresser he turns back to Kir and leans up against him hugging him as he sighs. Kir hugs him and lays down with the Awoken back into the bed, "Faeleen," is all he said but with that one utter of his name the two fell into the throws of love again.
