Do you like Forza? GOOD NEWS - The 2018 racing season has officially begun!!!!!!

This weekend IMSA kicks off the 2018 racing season with the Rolex 24 at Daytona. Today the Continental Tire Series cars have a 4 hour event, and tomorrow the Weathertech Series kicks off the 24 hour race with the DPi, LMP2, GTLM, GTD cars all on the track at the same time. 2 time Formula 1 champion Fernando Alonso is co driving an LMP2 car this year. The Ford GT's are back to defend their last year's win of the GTLM class. I know not a lot of you get into cars nor racing in general, but maybe you may find you like it now since some of you have started driving for yourselves. Any Forza players should watch at least some of this to familiarize themselves with the cars, teams, and the track, just to see how big this place is, and the history of the cars and the sport. So many iconic drivers and cars have raced here. It's where the '60's era Shelby Daytona Coupe was named for. I look forward to this as well as Daytona Speed Weeks in a couple weeks for NASCAR getting the racing season going. Motorsports is the only professional sport I watch or have any interest in.

 • I mess with Forza but prefer Assetto. The Force feedback is dope. Also worth noting that GT Sport has this e-sport thing going on. I guess the FIA is involved... Furthermore. Watching pro footage definitely helped my driving lines. In game stuff generally isn't a millimeter perfect representation (although... some tracks are laser scanned 0_0) but angle of attack, how they turn in. Good passing zones, things like that. Hot lap of 2:29:8 at Spa because of it myself. Not "alien time" but much better than where I once was. I'd just recommend it as a general thing honestly. But hell yeah this is dope. Prototypes are always crazy fast. Member the Mazda? Proto, but a different classification I think. Early 90s.
RIP FUJIMI PRESS F TO PAY RESPECTS

F
