Weekly reset warning - lessons learned!
Well.
Firstly, huge thanks to Anje-Wa, Nephelym & Neon-Martian for an awesome morning of both the nightfall and weekly strikes - an entire week of xp boost, 9 strange coins and some legendary gear - or so I thought.
Was a bit miffed to get no gear at the end of the nightfall, but thought "hey, at least I get the xp boost." Sure enough, glowy head at the end.
Was even more annoyed when only got 6 strange coins at the end of the weekly, instead of the 9 the others got.
The penny finally dropped when I logged back on tonight. No glowy head.
I had logged in before the weekly reset this morning to grind a few last vanguard marks. Then, at 10:00 I picked up the new bounties and jumped into the nightfall.
Turns out that nothing resets at 10 on a Tuesday UNTIL you log out and in again.
I did the nightfall last week, so no gear. I had earned 3 strange coins from the weekly last week, so only 6 left to earn. No xp boost for this week.
Sigh.
TLDR - Make sure you log off and on again at 10:00 on Tuesday to reset everything (but if you need to complete your weekly targets then logging on before 10:00 lets you sneak some more in!)
So, anyone for nightfall and weekly then?

2 RepliesJust finished Nightfall with Neon and Markey. Slow going but void weapons really helped. Void sniper really helped move things along. Toughest bit was the captains while Ghost is taking down the barrier. Lots of fun though. Did the weekly on 22 earlier this evening but it was without a good strategy pre-planned. Good way to pick up tips before doing the Nightfall though.
