Iron banner query

I sure someone will be along soon that can give you specifics but I found it pretty simple to level my rank last time out. I did put in a fair few hours though. It's well worth buying the shader, emblem and class item if you don't already have them as they provide a boost to IB gains. Apparently the Nightfall buff also helps a tiny bit. If you're devoting a few hours to it make sure you buy the Tempering buff as this will also help a lot. Also for every loss you gain a coin that upon your next win is immediately cashed in for a percentage of the win rep amount. You can only hold up to five at a time so try to make sure you don't lose more than five matches in a row! I had a lot of fun last time out, but that's because there were a lot of DoD'ers doing it at the same time so getting a fireteam together was pretty simple. Don't think it'll be as easy this time mind, as the armour is no longer of raid quality. It's exactly the same light level as regular Vanguard and Crucible gear. I'll still try to run a bit though as you can double up on your bounties by taking all the IB ones and the Crucible ones at the same time as they both count. Last time out the rewards seemed better than regular crucible as well. I got three legendary weapons and the Last Word. If Timur's Lash has got a boost to the new damage level it would probably become the best legendary HC in the game.
