Thoughts on 2.0 Update?
Personally, I like what they did. I like the return of the auto rifle and it feels good. Doesn't seem to out power pulse rifles or vice versa.
Shotgun seems to be nerfed appropriately. Fusion rifles feel good still. I did notice the nerd to range on my old Plug. One which had the range of Plan C. Although, which is weird, my Snake Bite surgeon had just a little less range in stats but can still one shot at a good distance and has accelerated coils....
Definitely feel the nerd of Rockets in that of the reduced proximity of Grenades and Horseshoes. Had so many rockets just fly by the m when before they would've detonated.
Nice to not be Thorned constantly and when I am, survive just a bit more. Haven't ran into last word.
Lastly, Snipes. Old LDR is still the go to. With field scout granting 24 rounds at the beginning of the match. Efrideets Spear final round is a PvE only, at best. No need for bonus precision damage in PvP.
Anyone else have any thoughts?

All in all, they are good. It is fun to play PvP and use some guns that I would have never used before. I played with hard light a bit. Even had one game where I ran vision as a primary with lord of wolves as a secondary. It does feel like time to kill is longer, which is ok. Like the new quest system, particularly being able to get the stranger's rifle, since I had sharded it. Also have been running the house of wolves quests to get the glimmer consumables rewards. Glad that crazy bitch Eris finally found a parking spot for her ship. Love the shader, emblem, ship, sparrow, exotics storage. It even gave me back the artic proxy shader I sharded before I realized it was rare. I will say that the gally nerf is not too bad. Really only noticeable against end game PvE opponents (skolas mainly). Can also still use handguns and shotguns without too much penalty. I only really have two complaints. First, the PvE shotgun nerf is real and it is terrible. I don't understand why it was done .... Other than it was a concerted effort of the PoE Fallen Captain's Union or the fact that the overall game designer .... Luke "HF" Smith is a total Ass bag. Second the titan's hammer dance is really abysmal ... But I guess we should expect nothing less from a Titan. The Hunter sprinkler, now that is boss. We shall see about the TTK. PvP it should be fun. PvE I am still some what concerned that end game content will be a bullet sponge slog.

1 ReplyI really like the weapon balancing and the new game types. For weapons the kill time is finally a bit slower, which I really like. Been rolling with the Bad JuJu and Mida as of late, which is a nice change of pace. Shot guns seem less, but still some nubs running around with only shotty equipped blinking and sliding to get close. I have been using my Efrideets due to the Short Gaze and Snap Shot; kinda sad I can't get my final round nub shots in :) I still find myself not reloading out of habit. I really like the gunsmith rep and trying out new guns! The kiosks are a cool idea and now I'm buying up some emblems, just to collect them. Rift is okay. Mayhem Clash is a lot of fun. I like that there are more bounties and they are less grind'y. Can't wait for Tuesday. Anyone trying to level to 40 and run the Raid on Friday?
