Contribution: The Shattered Pantheon - A hive raid where you journey deep into another dimension, facing off against a guardian-turned avatar of Ul (in other words one of the Hive Gods). The final area where you face off against the traitor is an endless chasm, where the only light source is the scattered abyssal lamps hanging by chains. There is no one floor, only several platforms of varying size, each highlighted by an abyssal lamp (Don't worry, they won't explode). At the center, a burning throne with a shattered star adorned above. Concept "Art" as follows: http://i.imgur.com/AXaFwMZ.jpg (Pardon the shoddiness of the drawing, but there's only so much I can do with one HB pencil and 10 minutes ;) ) Now you guys get a rough idea of the environment, let me get into to the "plot" of the boss fight. As your fireteam enters Ul's Throneroom, CUTSCENE! the throne explodes with green fire, and the Avatar materializes. From the middle, all the platforms light up, really revealing the sheer size of the arena. He doesn't openly show concern to your presence, merely observing your actions. At that point, you can't openly fire upon him, and must sever his connection to the portal situated above his throne. This will be done by (insert suggestion here). Once the portal has been closed, he will show a flash of annoyance, before sweeping his hand and causing green fire to erupt from the bottom of the chasm, with several of the platforms collapsing. *NOW THE REAL FIGHT BEGINS** He is the size of a standard guardian, maybe bigger, but he is insanely fast, ethereal wings carrying him to and fro the unstable platforms. He will give a slight hesitation before slamming down on one of the platforms, and the lamp will flicker, signalling to the fireteam to GTFO. How to deal damage *Still not decided yet, suggestions would be appreciated Mechanics Due to the environment being a light consuming chasm of Darkness, every second you spend away from a cleansed lamp, you get debuffed (Consuming of the light) ,and your health will go down slightly. When the green fire comes up from the chasm, the debuff will be increased, but not so much that it becomes impossible. In order to counter the debuff, you must stay in the vicinity of the relic-bearer, holding the severed head of the unique enemy, the "Light Gorger". While the fight goes on, the fire team must split up, and so the relic bearer is required to "cleanse" several lamps, so as to give the counter-debuff to the other players. The cleansing will last 3 minutes, requiring the relic bearer to constantly rotate. That's it. If you have suggestions, corrections or ideas of your own, feel free to comment below. My wish is that Bungie sees this and gets least one idea from this. Raid Armour Gear: It took me time to think about this, and i finally did, i decided that the raid armour would look like the same as the crota's end gear, but a little bit edited, with its own perks and look, but the shape and form will be the same. The armour will have a taken enemy look, and in the chestplate will be an eye, staring in all direction's with a demon look, the eye will stare down its enemy's enclosing the person in its gaze. Now its perks, or special whatever. i decide that one of its perks would be called the taken's grasp, this is how it work's, if you shoot the person directly while they are wearing the chestplate, they will be frozen for 12 second's making it perfect for the player to finish it off Haven't yet thought of the names yet, but feel free to comment!
