fate of all fools

In this destiny trailer one of the characters is obviously holding the fate of all fools (the guardian is holding it 37 seconds into the video) , bungie has had this weapon planed out since launch but never introduced it to the public. Maybe, they will release it for TTK but maybe it has a higher purpose to be obtained from an exotic bounty, bungie has said that all of destiny's secrets have not been discovered yet, this could be yet another mystery yet to be discovered by all us guardians.
