The armor he received from the Companion Cube has 3 light 0/0/0 super from melee on minion shield recovery on orb white chroma. He infuses with armor 330 light 44/62 Intellect 42/60 Discipline super on grenade kill health on orb blue chroma and ends up with 330 light 45 Intellect 37 Discipline super from melee/heavy kills on minion (Hands On/Heavy Lifting) shield recovery on orb (Better Already) white chroma This is where he infuses Spektar and Desolate Both have the exact same perks for ALL previewed Companion Cubes Boots shotty ammo 5 sec agility on solar double kills helmet super energy on grenade kills shield recovery on orb pickup chest pulse ammo reduce incoming solar damage gloves increased melee speed increased scout reload Postmaster CC EverVerse CC This means that(If the April update is exactly the same as the preview) 1. Companion Cubes drop armor with 3 light and random rolled perks. 5. The perks are NOT random rolled PER Companion Cube. 6. Perks MAY be random rolled on a timed schedule similar to weekly/daily bounties and such. 2. Infusing the armor causes it to inherit light level and I/D/S stats (Only whether it has Intellect, Discipline, Strength it appears. The ratio does not seem to be inherited) 3. The armor keeps perks and chroma color(Which is rerollable) 4. You would merely be paying money to get MORE chances at the armor piece you want that week to be dropped.

  • So is this a one time infuse and done thing or will we be able to keep infusing one certain item until it's maxed out?

  • I have no idea, this was all based on what I saw. Looking again and seeing what others have pointed out, it seems I may have been a bit wrong.

that's somewhat true. if you see in the perks of the 3 defense helm it has Int and Dis as perks, the stats just don't appear on the helm at the base until the infusion. so it could be that int/dis infused with int/dis gets you int/dis

  • States are based on the current light of the item. E.g. I have noticed if I infuse now. The stats will slightly increase with higher light. say a 250 item infused with 290 item has a higher stat value. Infusion C Cube items just gives it the base of what stat the item will have. Obviously random rolled as some items have higher or lower actual stats.

I don't think that is true at all in the current state? at the moment if you infuse the only thing that changes is the light of the item. not the stats. this clearly will be changed in the update from what we have seen

No serious it true. I have had as a year 1 player who quit just after Expac 1, got taken king dlc a while back. Been getting legendary drops. Upgrading these from say 240-60 or so light up to 280 and my int.dis slightly improves. The number you get is based around the light of the gear. As higher light gear is required to hit tier 5 lv40 300 stat req. Where as lower light gear e.g. lv 34 only needs 170 ish if i remember. Rng are on stats there is min/max rolls. e.g. you see green low level gear with 15 int or whatever. as there is a min max stat for each light level. A lv40 item has a 30-40 ish roll without a perk focus or bonus from rarity. However raiing light through infusion has minimally increased my armours actual stats. i'm only talking 308 int to 315 that has allow me to put more perks on dis my secondary stat.

you would need to post a video for proof, cause I am 99% sure your stats don't increase on infusion

  • You actual stat value is based on light level. e.g. say a rubish green lv 5-10 item is min max 15-20 or so points. A lv 300 item has a higher min max. by infusing you gain minimal bonus. I seen this happen on multiple items. On my titan. e.g my legs are great.

like I said, you will have to provide a video as proof, I Haven't infused certain items into certain items because of the fact that I am fairly sure that you don't gain stat bonuses

  • Ah You're right, do you have any idea what the lowest Light level Armor piece that has I/D/S on it is? It may be possible it doesn't show up unless there's enough Light on it. It could be that these unfusable armors ONLY inherit the Light level and this only brings out already existing I/D/S stats. Guess we will just have to wait and see :(

they left alot of mystery to it for sure, there are a million combinations that could be the outcome, it could be random. it could have been a mixture of the stats together (say the helm had 8 int on it's perk mixed with the 60 something int on the helm it infused with). it could have been inherited the stuff from the gear from the infusion. It's all rather hard to say and could be a million things

  • i think it might have just been random(by chance, luck whatever) that he infused an int/dsp helm and got an int/dsp helm. if it was based on what he infused why did he lose base stats? 86 vs 82. we might have to infuse it to see what it looks like before infusing 320+ gear into that new stuff

  • True. In addition to that it appears that I was wrong about you getting the roll that you can find when you preview the Companion Cube. The Companion Cube Preview Helmet has super energy on grenade, while the one he received and infused has super energy on melee. This means the preview perks might just be placeholder or don't even matter. So I guess 1. Companion Cubes drop Light 3 armor with randomized perks when you redeem them (The preview perks don't seem to matter). 2. Infusing the armor MIGHT only inherit Light level (Sadly). 3. I didn't really learn anything new ;-; (That's what I get for posting so early in the morning when I'm tired, I miss the most important little details lol) 4. I don't know how to multi-reply, or if you even can.

Yeah that is how I seen it I watched the vid closely. This is the step by step order 1) You gain a C Cube by doing things on a weekly basis or you Cash Shop them. 2) The preview shows you an overview of all the types of armour you can get. E.g. Taken and S Armour. An a chance of a bonus item. 3) You redeem the box. Fancy animation happens. 4) You get given a random item from the box preview 5) This item has randomly roll PERKs that might differ from the preview window (this is what Deej ment by these are cosmetic) 6) the item given you has no stats and 3 light. 7) You get a random blue or whatever item you have lying around. Infusing it into the C Cube item. 8) The C cube item gains the stat type of the infusion material. However it stats are rolled based on light level. Perks it had stay the same to what it had prior infusing. 9) From there on it acts like any NORMAL legendary item. E.g. infusing light will only increase it light level and not it stat types (as that would be stupid). So basically it really easy to hit those tier 5 stat focuses you want to build however getting those Weapon you use reload or Weapon Ammo or Melee/Grenade bonuses are the "hard thing to get". That if for example and you do not get trolled and keep getting head and not leg or gauntest Kappa.
