The Dark Guardian - Chapter 10: The Battle Plan

Cam's POV Location: Hellmouth Savathun's Realm. We stood as Savathun prepared her words. Her eyes switching between red and black. My Crux lies on my back, it's weight trying to pull me down... Savathun then turned. "The Vanguard knows where we are. A massive force is headed toward the Moon right now." She spoke. A hint a fear was in her voice. "We can't take them all on. My power is still limited ever since that Guardian killed Oryx. And I can't take any Guardians either." Silence filled the Realm. "Ever since the Guardians have killed Crota, it's been hard to maintain any authority over the moon." "Nah," Para said as she spread her four wings. "I like it here on the moon... and I don't want to see it fall without a fight. We need a plan." A smile crept across her face. I couldn't help but wonder what she was thinking of. "We need an ambush and it has to be big." Ian started to twirl his knife in the air. "And how are we going to do that?" Ian asked in a serious tone. I could feel how nervous he was. Even though we just became Walkers less than a week ago, we already like it here. "Savathun and I will be the decoys," Sara spoke. "They'll think we're going to surrender kill us. But they'll be in for a massive surprise." She smiled as she said this. "Para will summon Hive to help us look more convincing. Then she'll and take a ship to flank them. Ian, you'll be the recon and Cam... since you don't have your powers yet, you'll stay behind us." I sighed and nodded. [i]Like I need powers anyways[/i] I have my crux and my armor. That's all I need anyway... Zavala's POV 3 hours before The Battle Plan. "Our scouts have detected a massive spike of darkness on the Moon," Ikora said in a calm voice. "They said it looked like Darkness was clashing agai-" She stopped as she knew what was happening... There was more than one Walker they needed to deal with. And these were powerful ones too. "Show me the reports." Zavala started. "We need to shut them down. For all, we know they could be planning something big and destructive. Get permission from the Speaker and get that Guardian on the line. We need to start them before they have a chance to do anything." :)
