The Dark Guardian - Chapter 9: Peace or War

?????'s and Para's POV I stood up. Darkness surrounding me like it never has before. It was becoming part of me... and I was becoming a part of it. Ian and Sara were on the ground, dazed by what happened. Cam is on his knees, shocked and dazed too. I smiled. "Now... this is where the true fun begins..." I say with two different voices. I raised my Redeemer, that was now flowing with darkness and thrust it into the ground. The ground rumbled, as darkness started to course through it. I slashed my Redeemer right at them. Cam blocked it. I looked at them as the dust settled. They were shaking. Fear in their eyes. "Awwww what's the matter? Scared?" I and ????? said with a devilish grin. I summoned 4 knights. But these knights were different. They had darkness pumping through them. I unfolded my four wings and lunged toward them. " $%#&**# attack her!" Sara commanded. $%#&**# stood up and charged straight at me. One of the knights smashed it before it could even get close. "Oh god... what did we do..." Sara said as she fell to her knees. I raised my redeemer right above Cam and- "THAT'S ENOUGH!!!" screeched Savathun right before my blade touched his forehead. "I've seen what you can do and now I know how much potential you four have." She floated down and helped up Sara and Ian. You need to go and rest now. I have a mission for you once you've rested... *2 hours later* Sara's POV I sat on my bed still dazed by what had happened with Para. She [i]literally[/i] became part of the darkness for a little bit. All of a sudden Para walked in along with Ian and Cam. "No! That's not what happened. I've always had 4 wings" Para said as she sat on her bed tucking in her wing too. Her scar on her face was still black. "Anyways, that's not why we're here. Sara do you know what that thing was that you summoned? We've been arguing about it for the past hour. Ian says it's a demon. Cam says it's a worm. And I say it's solid Darkness." Everyone was looking at me now. My face turned red with embarrassment. "It's a worm. It has a name ya know. It's $%#&**#." They looked at me with amazement. Ian and Cam started to argue about who did the most in the fight while Para just smiled and stroked her wings. I felt a smile coming on my face. Then a voice appeared in my head. Savathun's... "Come to my realm at once. We need to talk about your next mission." Savathun spoke. We all looked at each other nervously... then got up and started toward her realm.
