The Dark Guardian - Chapter 5: New Prey 2/2

Sara's POV Sara's body hurt like hell. It felt as if it was burning from the inside out. She screamed out in pain as the darkness started to flow through her, eating up the rest of what was left of the light. She was on her knees as black smoke rose from her body. "Why did it hurt so much?" She asked as she tried to stand up. She wobbled and fell again. Savathun then lifted all three and headed down a hall. Cam and Ian were too weak to even comprehend what was going on. "It hurt so much because you're made of light. I had to tear it apart and replace it with darkness." Savathun said. "But now is not the time for questions. You need your weapons. I think you'll be able to handle my weapons without breaking them like Para." Savathun stopped moving. Sara looked over her shoulder to see Para sleeping in the middle of the hallway. She sighed lightly before picking her up too. Sara thought her scythe looked pretty with its red and purple color. Soon enough, they were in the armory. It was stacked with every weapon you could imagine. Savathun then dropped us. I landed on my butt while Ian and Cam landed on their feet. I quickly stood up to match them. "Choose a weapon while I put Para in a bed." She commanded. We rushed to pick something. I couldn't believe how many weapons there were. She had guns, swords, chains, bows, shields, bombs, everything! I stood around in awe. "What weapons will you guys choose?" She said to Ian and Cameron. Cam was looking at all the guns and Ian was looking at the snipers. "I might as well go for the minigun," Cam said as he picked it up with no trouble. His gun was black with a mix of blue on it. "It seems the most destructive and deadliest. Plus, It'll decimate the guardians." "Sniper for me," Ian said. "I like watching peoples head get blown off and watching them fall!" He had a smile on his face, which was creepy, but picked up the black and purple sniper. She decided to go for a shotgun. Sara looked until she came to one that caught her attention. It was hidden behind other shotguns so she had to knock a few out of the way to get to it. When she picked it up and it started to glow red and a faint hum rang from it. "I see you all have your weapons." Savathun had said as she walked through the doors. She looked at our weapons and smiled. "Ian, your sniper is named Midnight. Cam, your minigun is named Crucifixion. The crux for short. Now Sara yours is named-" She stopped talking as she looked at her shotgun for a moment but continued. "Your shotgun is named Damnation." She looked at Sara for a moment longer before leading them out to their rooms. Sara shared a room with Para. Ian and Cameron had to share one too. Before she left, she told them that tomorrow they were going to know the truth about The Traveler and what it has done. Sara ran. She ran and ran, but couldn't escape. She was banging on the walls, on the door, anywhere she could. It was getting closer. She couldn't think, she was sweating. Then she looked up. It was here. Sara jolted awake in her bed. She was drenched in sweat and was shaking so much, that it made her bed move a little. She curled herself into a ball... (Yes I know it was short. But I needed it to be short :) )
