The Dark Guardian - Chapter 12: Captured

Location - Moon Event - The Great War Ian's POV I kept my scope locked on that Titan. Sara was knocked out and over his shoulder. I gritted my teeth and fired at his leg. [i]Nothing[/i] He turned around and looked into my soul. I looked right back. "Put her down!" I shouted at him. "Unless you want to get out of here alive, that's your best option!" He dropped her and moved toward me. I stood up and dropped down the hill I was above. "You think you can just boss me around?" said the Titan in an iron tone. His armor was covered in blood and shook everytime he took a step. "Well, you're going to have to think again." Arc energy flashed up around him and he charged for me. I jumped into the air, loaded and fired 7 rounds filled with darkness straight into his helmet. [i]No effect[/i] I realized this was the Guardian that Savathun was talking about this whole time... "Not this time litter boy!" He said with joy as he grabbed my arm. He pulled my Midnight out of my hand and crushed it. I felt a piece of me shatter. "Bastard..." I coughed out as I fell to my knees. "I swear, I'll make you pay you son of a-" He held up some sort of device to my head and pressed a button. I saw a bright flash and then my body felt like it was being toward to shreds... then, I blacked out. Savathun's POV I looked around frantically for Ian and Sara. One of my eight eyes sensed their Darkness. I honed in on them while draining the light of one last Guardian. I shook with fear once I realized who it was... [b]Zero[/b] My thoughts started to race. He killed my brother. He [i] betrayed[/i] me. Now he wants to kill my Children. [i]Never[/i] I summoned Sara's Damnation and teleported right in front of him, rage filling me from top to bottom, and fired the whole magazine before I dared to speak a word to him. "So we meet again... Savathun" Zero said in a grim tone unfazed by the bullets. "I recommend you let us go... or else we'll blow up the Hellmouth." He said while nodding toward a ship in space. An airship... filled to the brim with explosives. I felt all of my four hearts drop. He knows that I know how powerful those explosives are and what damage they can wreak on us. He nodded his head at the ship. I put up a barrier around it and hoped for the best. I fell to the ground once that missile hit it. Whatever that missile is coated in, it can pierce through my shield... "Good girl!" He says as he walks onto his ship. He throws Ian and Sara into the back and starts to take off. "I'll be back for you next!" He said as he flew toward the moon. I gritted my teeth and turned around, ready to murder every Guardian in sight...
