The Dark Guardian - Chapter 6: The truth

5 hours after waking up... Cam's POV He stood next Savathun's throne, standing tall and firm. His allies all around him. He was about to witness the truth of The Traveler. Ian and Sara looked nervous, but Para was laid back. She wasn't even paying attention. Then Savathun floated in through a portal. "It is time..." she said in a low voice as she sat on her throne. "To show you the truth." A dark mist started to rise and surround them. It reached to their eyes and blinded them... then space. The traveler above a planet filled with Fallen. The mist revealed how the Fallen used to be like... before it ruined their very way on existence. They were noble. They had real clothes and respected one another. Then it happened. Their collapse. The Darkness had caught up to it... and The Traveler abandoned it and left them to die... Yet they didn't. They survived and we're coming to kill The Traveler... and there would be no remorse for what it had done. The mist settled and fell to the ground. Cam had only realized now that he was crying. "So you're telling me..." He said as his voice cracked. "That I've been killing Fallen this whole time when they just wanted revenge?! I've been alive for over 20 years and I killed so many..." "Calm down... this is a lot to process," Para said as she stretched her wings. "You'll fully understand soon." "Damn... I need to sit down and take all this in." Ian said, his voice weak from what he had just witnessed. "This is a lot harder to understand that I could've imagined." Sara was the only one that remained quiet. Even after what she had just bore witness too, she remained silent... (This is EXTREMELY SHORT but that's because something BIG is going to happen tomorrow)
