[b]Kane Gender/Race: Male/Human Guardian – Bladedancer Hunter[/b] Appearance: Dark complexion, short curly black hair, brown eyes, average height. Gear: Dark green armor plating with brown underneath. Tattered and stained cloak. Personality: Kane always sees the bad in everything. He is inherently negative and as a result often finds himself alone. Among the few that know him he is known as a cynic. He drowns his negativity and loneliness in alcohol. Background: One of Cayde’s scouts, Kane has always spent most of his time by himself. While it is becoming detrimental to his health, he is good at what he does and the enemy is never safe from his eyes. [b]Yara Sayyed Gender/Race: Female/Human[/b] Appearance: Of Arabian descent, short black hair, average height, usually wears red heels and a lab coat with simple black clothes underneath. Personality: Yara used to be innocent and kind, but having been raised under supervision of the Defense and a controlling father, she soon became cold and unfeeling. She is constantly under the pressure of living up to her family’s legacy, and works hard to fulfill the wishes of her ancestors: to rid the Earth of all aliens, but mostly the Traveler. Background: Yara grew up under an obsessive and controlling father who was mostly a failure himself, but she quickly learned how to overcome these setbacks. After her father’s death, she uncovered his secret: an underground organization called the Defense that was just barely still in operation. She studied and slaved over centuries of scientific material, and eventually became an expert on robotics and calculus. Believing that the Traveler was an evil deception that was responsible for the collapse, Yara rebuilt the Defense from the ground up and took full advantage of what few operational Exos remained from the Defense’s Golden Age Exo program and improved them. Now she plots to destroy the Traveler and the guardians that protect it by any means necessary. [b]Alpha-12 Gender/Race: Male/Exo[/b] Appearance: Worn jet-black plating, red eye and mouth lights, tall. Wears a black Defense uniform. Personality: There isn’t much to this Exo. He is mostly hallow when it comes to personality. He contains the bare minimum of emotions in order to function, but over time he has developed loyalty to the Defense and constantly works to fulfill their goals. He cares about nothing except serving the Defense. Background: The first exo built by the Defense Exo program, Alpha was the bare bones of the project. Being the first iteration of a long line of exos, Alpha had a minimal amount of processing power and a simplistic mind. This made him compliant and loyal, but also slow in combat. The program wiped his mind many times after several failed missions and then decided to pull him from combat entirely. It wasn’t until Yara Sayyed took control of the Defense that Alpha’s potential was fully realized. She made minor adjustments to his mind, thereby keeping him compliant while increasing brain function, and then ramped up the processing power so that he could be much more effective in combat. Now he serves the Defense as an effective soldier and guard. [b]Solomon Gender/Race: Male/Human Guardian – Defender Titan[/b] Appearance: Long brown hair, brown eyes, a full and righteous beard, tall. Gear: Red Vanir armor set, loves his shotgun, auto rifle. Personality: Solomon tends to live in a sort of grey area. He owes allegiance to no one and he’s willing to do just about anything to get results. This attitude he has can sometimes get him in trouble with authority, but Solomon doesn’t really care. More than anything, he lives for the laughs to be had and the adventures to be shared in the form of stories over a drink. Background: Solomon was only around for about a century before the events of the black garden and the taken king. He often found himself wondering the broken Earth on many unsanctioned exploratory missions, just for the experience and a story to tell afterwards. These include, but are not limited to, saving a Fallen captain from Hive, nearly drowning in a centuries old submarine, attempting to operate an Old Earth flying machine that used large spinning blades, the discovery of an ancient tomb that was crawling with Fallen, and of course the resurrection of his best friend, Lassiter. [b]Lassiter Gender/Race: Male/Human Guardian – Sunsinger Warlock[/b] Appearance: Light complexion, long and wavy hazel colored hair, cleanly shaven, average height. Gear: Golden Starfire Protocol robes and armor plating, black underneath. Pulse rifle, rocket launcher. Personality: Lassiter likes to be the comedic relief of his team, but also wants to show others he is useful. He is constantly trying to prove his worth, and he often falls short, making a fool of himself. However, he never gives up, and every once in a while he will surprise everyone and pull off the impossible. Background: Resurrected just before the fall of the black garden, Lassiter is still a little on the young side, but he never had a problem with finding a team. Solomon was present for his resurrection, and the two instantly hit it off. They went on many wild adventures together and never failed to come back with some incredible stories. [b]Dakota Gender/Race: Female/Human Guardian – Bladedancer Hunter[/b] Appearance: Fiery red hair that drops to her shoulders, round face, hazel eyes, average height. Gear: Grey armor plating, navy blue underneath, Dream Eater helmet, navy blue torn cloak. Handcannon, sidearm, 1000-Yard Stare. Personality: Dalota mostly prefers to be a lone wolf, and when she decides to join a team they always end up getting in her way. She is also determined and knows what she is doing. That means she is a strong Hunter, but sometimes she can come across as bossy and stubborn. Background: Dakota never really had any good team experiences during her time as a guardian, so she spent many years by herself, honing her skills as a marksman. It wasn’t until she met Solomon and Lassiter that she actually enjoyed the team experience. When she spends time with them, she ends up having more fun than annoyance. This was a change she desperately needed because the loneliness had begun to get to her head. The trio became very close and the future holds many adventurous challenges for them.
