Guardian Link- Episode 10,

"Zavala, there was nothing at the King's Watch, we looked everywhere!" Garret exclaimed, running into the vanguard hall. Zavala looked perplexed. The rest of the team strolled in after Garret. "Interesting." He said, looking down at his tablet. "Perhaps-" An alarm suddenly sounded in the Vanguard hall. "What is it?!" Zavala shouted. Ikora ran over to Zavala, followed by Cayde. The fireteam drew near as well. Ikora's tablet showed a platoon of Fallen ransacking a market in the city. "Hold on a sec, those are Kings colors. Why are they showing their ugly mugs of all houses to show up?" Cayde asked. "Good question, but we should deal with the problem at hand." Ikora said. "A fireteam is already en route to eliminate the Fallen. We need to find out how they entered our city. This could be a much larger threat than some Fallen." Zavala stated. "Play feedback of the attack from the beginning." The footage went back to before the Fallen appeared. Nothing seemed to happen for a full minute. Suddenly, in the middle of the street, a large, aggressive looking multicolored hole tore open, and out climbed the Fallen. As soon as the last vandal made its way through, the portal blinked out of existence. The vanguard looked confused, and so did Fireteam Luminous. "The Fallen are obviously capable of wielding portals to get into the city. We must find out what's causing this." Zavala said hastefully. "Wait, stop for a moment. I believe the portals are not exactly the Fallen's doing." Cira interjected. "What do you mean?" Ikora asked. "What I mean is, that our most recent mission involved Tarantella harassing Fallen near the King's Watch. If this all adds up like I think it does, then it means that Tarantella is using portals to send enemies into the city." "If that is the case, we must protect all our civilians until the matter is solved. If you will excuse me, I'm going to recall as many guardians as I can and station them around the city." Zavala said, he pointed to a worker in the hall. "Phil, I need you to issue a warning to all civilians. Tell them to stay in their homes and initiate lock down procedures, and let them know that guardians will be stationed in all areas of the city to keep them safe." "Well, I guess that means we're going to get Tarantella." Jolt stated. "Cayde stood up. "Lemme go with em too, Zavala. I'm not of much use sitting here." Zavala frowned. "I guess you're correct. Go with the guardians. Point them in the right direction, Ikora." Cayde pumped his fists, walking over the the fireteam. "That will be easy." Ikora replied. "Tarantella's ship is on the move. It's on Earth, near the place you encountered the light stone. Speaking of which, where is it? And Bronze?" "Bronze isn't in the best mental condition right now. I'm sure he'll come if we need him. We better get moving." Jolt said. "GUARDIAN DOWN! GUARDIAN DOWN! A guardian yelled over the video feed, interrupting the conversation. "What happened? Ikora asked, walking over. "I don't know. A warlock in the fireteam just disappeared! He's gone!" A hunter yelled over the feed. "Hurry, team! That must have been Tarantella grabbing another host!" Zavala yelled. Outer Walls, Earth The guardians were shocked. Tarantella's ship wasn't a ship anymore. It had become more like a gigantic tank, with a barrel about the diameter of a water tower. The vehicle loomed over the entire landscape, its shadow contrasting greatly against the sunlit snow. "Welp, we better hurry and get to the bottom of this. On second thought, don't hurry. I wanna savor all the action I'm getting into." Cayde stated, walking up to the tank. The fireteam followed. Like last time they entered Tarantella's ship, they ripped open a hole in the tank and climbed in. The walls were pitch black as always. As they turned the first corner, they found enemies waiting for them. Kronor and Grahk were there to meet them. "What's going on? What are you doing?" Garret asked. "You expect us to tell you?" Grahk replied, snickering. "Well I guess I can tell you this much. Our real plans have been set in motion, and we're here to make sure you don't get in Tarantella's way. He drew his swords, rolling his neck. Kronor raised his shield. "Cira!" Jolt yelled. Cira took the signal and fired a nova bomb from his hand, stunning both of the shadows and knocking the shield out of Kronor's hand. Garret followed up by drawing his void bow, but Grahk crawled forward with a huge burst of speed, using all six of his limbs. He crashed into Garret, knocking him into the wall before he could fire. Jolt aimed her shotgun at Grahk, but he swung his sword at her shotgun, stopping most of the pellets from going into him. Caeli fired her golden gun at Grahk, but he dodged each one with incredible speed. He sped his way to Caeli, killing her with a quick slash to the neck. "He's too fast!" Cayde yelled, before being shot in the shoulder by a few bullets from Kronor's slug rifle. Before Kronor could fire again, Jolt shoulder charged into him. Cira followed Jolt to help her fight Kronor. Cayde sent two hand cannon bullets in each of a distracted Grahk's calves before he could get to Caeli's ghost, making Grahk fall to the floor. "Can't move fast with hurt legs, can ya?" Cayde said, reviving Caeli. Garret stood up, and the three hunters moved in to apprehend Grahk. Meanwhile, Jolt jumped onto Kronor's back, slamming him in the head with her fists. As he struggled against her like a bull being rodeo'd, Cira walked toward him, charging his fusion rifle. Jolt leaped off of his head, and Kronor yelled as he was blasted backward by the solar bolts. As Kronor fell unconscious from the fusion rifle bolts, Caeli smacked Grahk's head with the handle of her knife, knocking him out as well. "Great." Cira began, "now we can-" Before he could finish, the shadows' forms shook, and the pitch blackness of their bodies started to fade away. Two wisps of smoke rose from the now normal aliens. The captain's winter colors and white armor returned, and the phalanx's blue and yellow siege dancer armor came back. the wisps zipped out of the hallway, out of sight. The shadows had abandoned their hosts. "Well then. It's time to get a move on." Jolt said to the team. They walked further into the tank, ready to stop the shadows' plans.
