Three of Coins
Seems to be wide range of stories going from great success to great disappointment with these since the hotfix, so I was just wondering if the clan has any opinion on Xurs latest item for grabs.
I know with the recent hotfix Bungie tweaked the usage time a little bit so that it should work out better to pop one before a strike as opposed to farming bosses rapidly, which personally I'm OK with cause strikes are way more fun than grinding one boss.
But the real question is would you consider buying multiple stacks a better option then grabbing lets say this weeks weapon Hawkmoon, cause to be honest I like it and it seems like a great gun but I'm not dying to have it. That being said I don't to spend the few coins I scrounged up this week (work and life getting in the way haha) then end up with nothing and missing out all together.
Feel free to share your opinions and stories of Succes/Disapointment.

Thanks for the feedback guys! I ended up going coins and have just been popping 1 before each heroic strike. So far I've done 8 and bagged 3 exotics 1 of which I really wanted for a build, so definitely feels like a good option if you have the time for farming. Almost got enough coins back to buy Hawkmoon too haha.

I bought 15 of the three of coins and it took about 20 minutes and I got two exotic drops. But I used multiple at a time too see if that would work. it did but after a few more tries it stopped. So it will be better to buy that hawk moon than too farm exotics.

2 RepliesTook me 2 buys of the coins to get 2 exotics this week went to Venus and did the scourge of winter got to the check point and lowered darksis health and shot a rocket at the ground and him at same time so one rocket killing you and him at same time repeat take a coin do it again worked for me

1 ReplyI feel like its a cheaper way cause five of them cost 7 strange coins, so for the price of, say a hawkmoon, you can get 15 of them. Also it also gives you a sense of euphoria when you see the exotic engram drop after downing a boss!
