Axxel Road - an update on my music.

Work, school, sleep, repeat. This has been my daily ritual for the past 6-7 months; However, I contracted mono approximately five weeks ago. In case you didn't know, mono really sucks. It also means that you (well, me in this case) are bed-ridden and house-bound for the better part of 4-6 weeks. So, I've had a lot of time to write and record music in the past month. Axxel Road has had its ups and downs, and I've promised to release a full-length album [i]at least[/i] five times. But, that was a long time ago. Since my last song release, I've been hired to write and record a fair amount of songs for a various assortment of individuals and organizations. I've had the chance to really hone in on and improve a lot of the musical weaknesses I had before. Hundreds of people can produce better-sounding material than I can, but I'm content with where I'm at. 'The Illusion of Safety' is approximately 20% finished. The lyrics have been (for the most part) written and the direction of the album has been decided. The instrumental versions of each track will be completed, then the vocals will be added in later. In time, I'll release each kinda-sorta-finished instrumental track to my Soundcloud. I'll probably release all of the tracks in an instrumental album that will initially be free to download, or something along those lines.
