I have a void final rest II with accelerated coils and it's just ridiculous. Just got another one from nightfall that's solar, also accelerated coils.

Yep, got it from one of my first nightfalls, was pissed at first cause I didn't use them. Well then I got the thorn bounty. It was the only void secondary I had worth a shit. Well I found out it's almost impossible to counter except with a super or at long range with a sniper or very close range with a shotgun. When I took out three guys in iron banner who all came down the stairs at the same time I knew it was OP.

  • Mine has coils and hip fire. If someone is standing still, I could literally almost map them. Example, on Delphi, let's say u start at A, when you go towards the main hallway and look right, there that hallway that leads you downstairs and outside. I constantly get kills from the door on people coming around the corner or up the hallway, hip firing lol

  • lol, the grouping is tighter while hip-firing it seems, even without hip-fire perk, I imagine with that added accuracy it must be nasty. And I should originally have said very long range lol because it does work past mid-range. On blind watch, the B building, I was at the top of the stairs, near the door closest to the far A end, some guy was sniping with icebreaker at the far end wall by the door, the back way around to C not the door right next to it. He was nearly as far away as anyone could get on that map. I was strafing and he missed, just reacted with the FR2, fired a little low to offset the muzzle flip, thinking, oh shit he's too far... And then he goes from lens flare to disappearing into a quickly fading purple ghost in milliseconds. That blew my mind. I've been wanting to go on a fusion sniping spree for the lulz ever since. I suck at pvp as destiny is literally the first game I've played pvp in so I gotta get em somewhere. I almost feel bad sometimes but then when I don't use it I get routinely smashed by vex, hawk, thorn, murmur, freaking suros, shotgun blinkers... The FR2 is the cure. I also like how you can't just buy it.

  • It took me a while to get used to crucible and it really hurt my KD at the beginning and I really didn't care. But now I like it a lot and I'm trying to repair my KD. It's gone up to 1.60. And I have like 12,000 kills so it's hard to affect it. I need to average a solid3 KD over 10 or more matches on a daily basis to see it go up. I'm addicted to crucible. The formula is easy. Primary: Thorn, Last Word, Vex Secondary: LDR 5001 (Vanguard one with armor piercing rounds, you can shoot through walls), FRII, VoG Shotgun (drawing a blank right now) Heavy: Deviant Gravity A (My fav heavy in the game) It's all about angles and battle recovery. Try to engage 1v1. If you get caught by more than one, escape, reposition, gain angle and attack. Only shoot to kill, sucks when you waste half clip in someone who u knew u weren't gonna kill, only to catch someone sleeping but u don't have enough billets to kill. I have routines for every map. I have favorite angle where i know the height for my reticle to hit heads. Unless your really good, don't lead the pack, follow but stay close to others. Save Super for after heavy. Use your heavy the kill someone with heavy with your super. Follow this guide and you'll improve.I average probably 2.5 KD now, sometimes I go in tares. Hope this helps.

  • Thank you, I usually run Vanquisher, FR2, jolders hammer. The vanquisher has been really only good for mopping up, I'm trying to get good with TLW in PVE and try to bring it into pvp. Same with hawkmoon, I get vaporized by fusion rifles when I try to use it. I've been able to have some success with the Vex but again whenever I use it, it seems like someone with thorn, hawkmoon, or fusion rifles just own me. I think people who don't have it who complain like it's some magic gun that gives you instant wins are crazy. I'm a bit concerned about the hand cannon nerf effecting TLW since there was some crap about fast firing... I'm sure it will still be nasty though. Disengaging unfavorable encounters has helped me a lot, I watch a lot of streamers and pvp players who are very good but they will engage a fresh player while in the red, they win some but tarts usually the only time they die.
