I would like to throw in my ideas here, if nothing more than for fun. CONSTRUCTIVE Criticism is welcome! As long as you're not a douche about it, all of these are open to change. Once attached to an enemy, the grenade would detonate and create a field 1/3 the size of a wizards poison cloud this cloud would slow enemy's movement and prevent them from teleporting or jumping or shooting correctly (lasts for 6 seconds) The enemy that it was attached to would take a okay amount of arc damage (but only the enemy it was attached to). ----------------------- Purge grenade: This grenade when used, would explode dealing arc damage, and would paralyze enemy's for 2 seconds. ----------------------- Hypnotism grenade: ----------------------- This grenade would cause enemies in its radius (the size of a Wizard cloud) ignore incoming damage from the player (not taking notice) but the player can still be seen, but not felt. Not able to work on bosses. (In crucible it is a standard grenade (explodes dealing arc damage) ----------------------- Jump ability: arc tether (NOTE THIS IS A BIT OF A STRETCH BUT I FEEL IT COULD BE IMPLEMENTED) ----------------------- A grappling hook of sorts, this ability would shoot a lighting bolt from the users hand, (distance would have to be tested of course) attaching to any Enemy or object (Has a 5 second cool down) the user would be pulled to their tether and then once reached, they would be detached, but the user can break off at anytime. Enemy's can shoot at the tether and break it. How it would be used: (As well maybe an exotic could give the user 2 grapples while doubling the recharge time? Just a quick thought.) ----------------------- Click a to jump Click a while in mid-air to shoot tether, (whenever the cross hair is) Simple as that. ----------------------- Upgrades: Speed of light (move to destination quicker) while sacrificing tether health ----------------------- Observer After reaching destination you can hold a to stay in that position in the air. (Similar to Angel of light) ----------------------- (I really have no idea what to add for a 3rd upgrade, but because of this new type of movement, it's probably fair) ----------------------- Melee ability: ----------------------- Palm (obviously) ----------------------- Upgrades: ----------------------- Stasis lock: Enemy affected would be paralyzed and take damage over time ----------------------- Watchers gaze: Enemy affected will run away in terror. While terrified they take slightly more damage ----------------------- Mark of death: Enemy's affected would take far more damage from arc. ----------------------- Super: ----------------------- THIRD EYE: User will clap hands together (only super that stays in first person) 2 second charge time User will enter a state of full focus, time will slow around them, enemy's moving at 50% speed as well as projectiles. To outsiders the warlock seems to get a massive increase in speed. Projectiles will still hurt the user but only if they're aoe actually touches the warlock. Lasts for 15 seconds. Your projectiles will also be slowed. Grenades will not work, and Melee will only work after upgrade. ----------------------- Upgrades: ----------------------- Soul of the traveler: You will take half damage from Enemies while in this state ----------------------- Time's Calling: Pull in one enemy into your state of focus (Through Melee) and they will take more damage from you and you take less from them (not on bosses) ----------------------- Shared sight: Allies gain a shield after super is used. ----------------------- Tier 1 upgrades: ----------------------- Perception: Can see enemies who are invisible ----------------------- I do not blink: Third eye last for 3 seconds longer ----------------------- Mediation: standing still (and not taking damage for 10 seconds gives you a shield. ----------------------- Tier 2: ----------------------- See no evil: Enemies who are affected by hypnotism take more damage (only from you) ----------------------- Hear no evil: Enemies cannot hear you approach them (in crucible your footsteps are deafened) ----------------------- Speak no evil: Enemies that buff other enemies will not give buffs if you have your super active.
