you're trying to over complicate the process. is it screwy that the vault is always a tougher difficulty than you? absolutely. but trying to level the playing field when they've deliberately tilted it in their favor.. for a reason.. will do nothing.

The vault isn't always a tougher difficulty... And being over leveled gives no advantage in this game....

oh but the vault is. went in the other night as a 31... had gatekeeper minotaurs at 30.... shocked the hell out of me.. and yeah, being over leveled does nothing for you.. but tons for the ai.... kinda jacked up if you ask me.

It's a level 30 raid, shouldn't all the enemies be 30? How is that a shock?

normal mode is a level 26. I went in as a 31.. in the gatekeeper fight I wound up facing down minotaurs and praetorians at 30.. kinda surprised me. nothing i couldn't handle.. just surprised me.

Yeah, normal mode vault scales as you go. 26 at the beginning, and it gradually increases the level until it hits 30 at the gatekeeper fight. It's always been like that.

well.... that would explain as a 29.. why i kept getting my ass handed to me by minotaurs in that fight.... amazing what a 2 level difference makes.. *smh*.. is that to say level 30 (hard mode) scales to 32?

No, in hard mode raids, the level is constant throughout. VoG hard is 30 throughout, and CE hard is 33 throughout.

oh well hell that's fine then.. I never end up needing to be revived anyway. (sunsinger... i keep a revive charged.. just incase lol)
