Hawkmoon or Thorn... What Do You Think?
So lately I have read several posts about either the Hawkmoon or Thorn, and these posts have turned into debates over which is better, although that's not what the original post was about.
I have been fortunate to get my hands on both of them. Both are very good, but I obviously prefer one over the other.
While there is no way to moderate this, I would like to hear the voices of guardians who own both. Which one do you prefer overall? How about for just PvP? How about just PvE?
And let's hear an explanation, not just some unhelpful "thorn is for scrubs" or "Hawkmoon is used by noobs" comment.

I love my hawk moon. Both tear it up in PvP. If 2 guardians with each gun (One with hawkmoon and other with thorn) and they start shooting each other at the same time. My experience is that the Hawkmoon will kill first but the thorn DoT will finish you off if all the shots hit. Both are really good. But I personally like Hawkmoon more

1 ReplyIf you prefer one over the other, just use the one you prefer. Otherwise, this is purely a playstation fanboy thread since xbox doesn't have hawkmoon.
