The hunter needs a defensive void subclass. I'd like it to be something like 15 seconds of invincibility while changing the element of any weapon equipped to Void for the same period of time. OR Void traps (fits a hunter perfectly). The hunter can throw out 3-4 (nearly) invisible traps which will be triggered by an enemy stepping into it. When an enemy is captured he/she can't move or shoot for 5 seconds, but can be shot at. Upgrades could be bigger traps (so it can fit more enemies) or longer duration.
