Exotic Maker. Perk Maker. Sublcass Maker

Edit 7/25: For people having trouble with ideas, here's two themes that may help. Theme #1 Class specific exotics: in the taken king, we're suppose to be getting some. Let's see what you guys can come up with. Theme #2 Toxotics: this is basically an exotic with an amazing perk but it is also hurts you somehow. Not really doing a competition because I'm very inconsistent. Edit 7/24: Glad to see we're getting some traffic going again. I've decided to change what this forum is about. I want it to be a creation outlet for everyone to share their ideas, not just for exotic gear. Hopefully you guys like the change. I'll try and include some examples. Edit 6/11: Wow, I'm surprised that people actually want this forum to stay alive. I'm sorry for being silent for so long so I've responded to a couple of posts. I'll try and respond to anyone else that adds something. Also I'm going to look for the list of exotics that I have from the last competition. I'll post it when I find it. Design: a normal hunter helmet with a white smiling mask surrounds the front of the helmet. Attributes: Strength Upgrades: melee attack speed, orbs regen melee energy Exotic upgrade: Dancing Joker- the gunslingers throwing knife leaves a dancing after image of the guardian on the spot that it is thrown and lasts 8 seconds. In pve, they take aggro from enemies. In pvp they show up on the radar as enemies.[/spoiler] Striker [spoiler]Name: Rulers Helm Type: Titan helmet Description: When faced against the will of a king, one must ask, "How do I repent?" Design: Golden helm with a crown melted into the top. Attributes: Intellect Upgrades: Grenades give more super energy, killing minions of the darkness grant more super energy Exotic Upgrade: Monarch's Wrath- Fist of havoc does more damage and kills with your super grant the titan an armor of light that lasts 5 seconds.[/spoiler] Void walker [spoiler]Name: Abyss Gravity Type: warlock helm Description: Return to me... Design: a grey warlock helm with small void particles surrounding it. Attributes: Intellect, discipline Upgrades: melee hits replenish grenade energy, more super energy from genade kills Exotic Upgrade: Abyss Gravity- vortex grenades and nova bomb have an increased radius for their damaging fields. They also have a strong singularity effect that pulls people in its radius to the the center. [/spoiler] Sun singer [spoiler]Name: Flight of Hermes Type: Warlock boots Description: True freedom is only known to the sky's. Design: Navy blue pants with large golden wings on the outer left and right side of the feet. Attributes: Discipline Upgrades: heavy ammo, speed reload primaries Exotic upgrade: Flight-extends the duration of angel of light. Grants a speed boost and better control while airborne.[/spoiler] Defender [spoiler]Name: Dynamo Luminescent Type: Titan chest Description: Bring forth the light. Design: A dark blue armor piece with an orb of light inside the chest and two small ones on both shoulders. Attributes: Intellect, Discipline Upgrades: bonus special ammo, reload speed for pulse rifles Exotic upgrade: Light Giver-Gift of light(orb gens with force barrier kills), gift of the void(damage to ward dawn gens orbs), and iron harvest(chance for orbs with heavy kills) are free perks. Design: boxing gloves Attributes: strength Upgrades: melee speed, grenade hits give melee energy Exotic: gives striker storm fist a stun ability as well as a knock back effect. Design: bullets up and down the sleeves with grenades around the shoulder Attributes: Discipline Upgrades:orbs replenish health, melee replenishes grenade energy Exotic upgrade: Specialist- Doubles the amount of clusters from Swarm and Skip grenades.   • Name: Death+er (Death adder, like the snake) Type: Hunter Gauntlets Description: [i]...It was too late, the snakes blades had already pierced...[/i] Design: Chrome colored gauntlets with a glowing red snake design endinging on the top of the hand. There are shurikens on the sides of the gauntlets. Attributes: Strength Upgrades: increased strength, increased primary weapon reload speed Exotic upgrade: "Death Adder"; throwing knife is replaced with a shuriken that does less body damage (precision damage does not change) in exchange for significantly increased travel speeds and no drop. Incendiary blade perk is provided.

  • Here's my Toxotic (exotic that's awesome with a negative effect on the user). Name: Hot Shot Weapon Type: Shotgun (secondary weapon) Shells in magazine: 3 Shells in reserve (max): 5 Shot Package: Aiming down sight reduces shot spread. Overboil: Full auto, and every time the gun is fired it deals 150 damage to the user.

    • Name: Mental Hot Rod Type: Exotic Hunter Helmet Flavor Text: My mind is racing. Description: The helmet would look streamlined with no visor and have hotrod flames on either side of it (possibly have a movement animation for these). The exotic perk would cause super energy to replenish twice as fast. This is just a rough idea but still it has potential.

      Name: Silent killer Type: Hunter helmet Description: The acolyte didn't shriek, or try to fight, it knew it was already dead, and it simply collapsed on the ground. Perks: 1. Buff agility slightly 2. Invisibility effects last longer, blinking and using melee attacks while invisible will not reveal you, but will make invisibility's duration shorter. 3. Blink farther, and blink can be used more rapidly. Design: black helmet with a respirator over the mouth, tubes running from the respirator to the back of the neck, and a glowing blue visor over the eyes.

      • I have a new idea. It's a Dark Souls reference. Stride Of The Abysswalker Exotic Hunter Boots Description- "He made a pact with the beasts that reside within to traverse the Dark."- A line from a myth in a forgotten land Stats:Intellect and Discipline Perks- Carry more heavy ammo Exotic Perk- Art of Abysswalking- Provides Shadowstep for Nightstalker. Design- Pretty simplistic.Regular boots with platemail covering them. I want the plate to be aged and pitted. The base color is black as the legging color and silver or dark grey for the plate. Look up Artorias to get an overall idea of my goal

Exotic Upgrade: [b]Midnight Hour[/b]: Activating your super once triggers invisibility but begins to drain your super meter. Activating your super a second time triggers Shadowshot. The less super meter you have when Shadowshot is triggered, the more damage it does. Doubletap RB+LB to use Shadowshot normally.

        • this isn't entirely my idea, its a weapon from the grimoire cards and i just thought it should be in the game name - rose (for those that recognise this bear with me) type - handcannon description - light will always find its way back weapon style - fluid and soft almost biological design with rose red lights stats - same as thorn (continue to bear with me) normal perks - same as thorn except explosive rounds replaces single point sling exotic perk - mark of growth - heals allies over time to the same extent and amount of time as thorns DoT and stacks 5 times and allows people inside explosive round radius to be healed to a lesser degree how to dicover - when you have killed 1000 enemies (or some other notable landmark/achievement) with a thorn (has to be on the same thorn so you don't get the quest immediately after you get a new one) you recieve an exotic quest that calls for you to find the ghost of dredgen yor which you find after doing a hive based strike (phogoth, omnigul or taken king strikes) on heroic difficulty then you do some other steps after that which i haven't thought of yet but for the duration of these quests you are assisted by dredgen yors ghost as well as yours and he looks sort of damaged and slightly hive- ey and speaks with a deep evil-ish sounding voice

Design: elbows have a slot machine pull-arm-thing on them and the rest of the gauntlet is the little symbols in a slot machine spinning around.

              • Ravager Toxtic machine gun Random perks with each gun, can be crazy, can be crappy Exotic toxic perk: ravaging rounds Bullets explode upon hitting enemies, at the cost of slowly draining your health while firing Kind of risk/reward. Lowering your health to crush enemies, while opening yourself up to taking damage and being a lot weaker.

              • Far Cry Instincts Predator reference. Name: Predator/Instinct Type: Hunter Greaves Description: "I am the one that goes 'bump' in the night." ~ scrawled on a note found with greaves. Design: These greaves are tattered and charred that have various different pieces of fabric stitched together. It has several small blades around the belt and has small feathers protruding from ankle area. Attributes: Intellect 90 Initial upgrade: Carry more ammo for primary weapons. Exotic upgrade: No mercy - Whilst golden gun/bladedancer is active agility is increased by +3, jump hight and in air control is increased.

                • Titan: Mk 11 Redemptions Description: No one saw that, right? Design: similar to stand asides Gauntlets Attributes: intellect/strength Upgrades: increase melee attack speed, melee kills reduce grenade cooldown Perk: fist of panic: getting no kills with fist of havoc grants a large bonus to agility, recovery and toughness for a short time. Weapon swap and reload speed are also increased. These bonuses are cut in half for every kill. Hunter: Heart of the Young Ahamkara Description: Design: made to look like a ribcage. A central piece slightly off center glows red and "beats" to a slow rhythm. This piece blinks faster when hungering blade is active. Chest Attributes: intellect/discipline Upgrades: increase grenade throw distance, melee kills decrease cooldown of super Perk: Grants an extra melee charge to blink strike as well as hungering blade.

                    Gabriel's Horn "When our Savior returns, He will punish the Evil ones for their wrong doings." Rocket Launcher : It looks like a beautiful, shiny white horn with gold on some of it. It works kind of like a grenade launcher that shoots rocket propelled grenades. 1st Perk: Tracking Exotic Perk: Rounds from this weapon will not kill enemies, but instead stick the rounds to enemies. When they damage an ally or you that rocket/grenade explodes within a large area. Hidden Perk: Holding down the trigger for a certain amount of time fires all rounds at once.

Exotic Armour: Name: Shroud of the Voidgazer Type: Warlock armour Description: “They avoid me when I don this shroud, best they do.” Design: Long vestments with ragged edges, colour scheme is dark grey with golden embroidery down the back. Linear upgrade one: Serpents tail Exotic perk: Curse of the Voidgazer - Provides Annihilate and Vortex Mastery for Voidwalker class Name: Flight of the Phoenix Type: Warlock boots Description: “Walk among the embers. Be the last thing they see.” - Eris Morn Design: Warlock boots that have bangles wrapped around that are on fire, and small golden wings arcing off the ankle. Linear upgrade: Heavy weapon carrier Exotic perk: Herald of Flame – Angel of light lasts longer and grants the user bonus accuracy and health when Angel of Light is in affect. Name: Strength of the Pack Type: Titan chest piece Description: “With the presence of our Titan we felt...safe.” - Unknown fireteam leader. Design: Dark grey battered chestpiece with a dark red wolf face in the centre, white embroidery circles around the sides. Linear upgrade: Heavy weapons ammo Exotic perk: Strength of the Pack – Ward of Dawn grants a stronger Blessing of Light and reload speeds are increased while Blessing is in affect. Name: Siege Breakers Type: Titan Gauntlets Description: “Lay waste to the opposition. Break the Siege.” - Commander Zavala Design: Dark rusted gauntlets covered in chains with large pauldrons Linear upgrade: Increase melee speed Exotic perk: Siege Breakers – Increase the overall radius of Fist of Havoc. Name: Masque of the Frontier Type: Hunter Helm Description: “Many venture out into the Frontier, but not all return to tell the tale” - Kayde 6 Design: Gas mask like design with glowing red eyes, mouth and neck area covered by ragged neckerchief. Linear upgrade: Inverse Shadow Exotic upgrade: Gift of the Frontier – Bullets that miss from Golden Gun have a chance to be returned to the chamber. Name: Jesters Encore Type: Hunter Gauntlets Description: “The final joke is the last you'll hear.” Design: Hunter gauntlets that are purple/red and black with porcelain faces on the shoulders one smiling the other crying. When the exotic perk triggers health regeneration, a maniacal jester laugh is heard by the user and the pvp target for a brief moment. Linear upgrade: Increase melee speed. Exotic upgrade: Jesters final joke – Throwing knife hits at low health trigger complete regeneration.

Exotic Bounty: Slices in the Dark A strange distress call has come in from Pluto, directly to your ship, from a guardian thought long dead. 1. Fly to a unique mission on Pluto. You can bring a fire team of 3, but all must be different classes and all have the bounty. (You're going to want to have time for this, it's rather long, both the mission and the description.) upon landing on the icy, desolate landscape, you see a strange crystalline fortress. A guardian is lying by what appears to be the entrance. His ghost lies shattered next to him. He looks up at you, and whispers "Find the key, it is in your reflection(s). Stop the ritual." Then, he collapses, dead. Three keyholes are on the tune covered door. A large, shadowy boss appears, not of any race you know. His attacks consist of shooting bolts of silvery light, and every once and a while, a pulse of energy across the ground, killing any guardian on the ground as it passes under. Killing him is just shooting him. 2. Find the three strange mirrors scattered across the patrol maps, and shoot them until they shatter, dropping a key. (All three people must gather all three keys.) 3. After finding the keys, you must head back to Pluto, once again with a team of up to 3 who are different classes, have the bounty, and have all three keys. Landing, the door to the temple slides open. Thralls come pouring out, followed by knights and wizards. At the end, a major ogre comes out. After you kill it, your ghosts comment that it seems like they were running from something. Entering the temple, you spiral downwards, fighting more fleeing enemies of every race as you do so. Reaching the bottom, there is a circular silvery platform in the middle, surrounded by 7 raised stone platforms. Between them all is an endless pit. Standing on the large silver platform is the same shadowy being, now fully tangible and silver. It holds a massive axe in one hand, and a shield in the other. The fight commences. You can't jump to the silver platform he's on because he'll swat you out of the air. Jumping between the columns, you have to shoot his shield while dodging energy blasts shooting out of the shield. When it shatters, you can only damage him while on the middle platform, an must dodge his scything sword swipes. His shield will reform soon. Repeat until he is dead. A chest drops. Opening it, hunters receive mirror image and a broken hand cannon. Titans receive Mark of the reflection, and a broken auto rifle. Warlocks relieve Glass bond and a broken pulse rifle. 3. To activate the weapon, characters must spend 23 notes of light. 4. To unlock the 'a' perk, characters must not use their super, grenade, or melee super and kill 1000 enemies. Using an ability resets it. 5. To unlock the 'b' perk, characters must kill 500 enemies using only their heavy weapon, and class abilities.

                                  Name: Into the Fire Type: Hand cannon Damage type: solar Description: Out of the frying pan... Perks: 1. High rate of fire, very low impact, low range, high stability. 8-shot mag 2. Shots fired make a small explosion and knock back enemies 3. Precision hits light enemies on fire, doing a small amount of damage over a short time. 4. The final shot in every magazine does more damage and causes a bigger explosion. Reload faster when mag is empty. Design: Dark gray hand cannon with a red stripe along the top and a thicker than normal barrel.
