Edit 7/24: Glad to see we're getting some traffic going again. I've decided to change what this forum is about. I want it to be a creation outlet for everyone to share their ideas, not just for exotic gear. Hopefully you guys like the change. I'll try and include some examples.
Edit 6/11: Wow, I'm surprised that people actually want this forum to stay alive. I'm sorry for being silent for so long so I've responded to a couple of posts. I'll try and respond to anyone else that adds something. Also I'm going to look for the list of exotics that I have from the last competition. I'll post it when I find it. Here's mine. Please leave feedback on how to improve it or if you feel it is too over powered or under powered. Scout Rifle: Name: A Pale Horse Description: Bringing Death where he is needed. Concept: The gun will be a Bull Pup design (the clip is behind the trigger). The gun looks like it was made by an artist. More of a work of art than a weapon. The gun looks as if it were made of Ivory the dark gun metal barrel comes out of a horses mouth with Onyx eyes. The clip is curved and shaped to look like the dark grey blade of a scythe. There is no handguard. The sights look like the Quick Draw IS Sights but the fore sight looks like a Scythe that comes out of the horse's head. Base stats: Rate of Fire: Low-Medium Impact: Medium-High Range: Medium Stability: Medium-low Reload: Low and artful Magazine: 16 Upgrades: Damage: Void Tier one Upgrades: Accurized Ballistics, Aggressive Ballistics, Smart Drift Control. Tier two: Crowd Control Tier Three: Damage upgrade Tier four: Perfect Balance, Hammer Forged, Snap Shot. Tier Five: The Taker of Souls: bullets fired from this gun are shaped like the blades of scythes about 9 inches wide or about 23cm. and neck shots are 5 times damage (the spot is very specific and is supposed to be extremely hard to hit). Rounds over penetrate targets. Rounds stagger targets and leave them reeling. Tier six: Damage upgrade Tier seven: Damage upgrade, Damage upgrade, Damage upgrade. Let me know what you think.

Thought of another one! Boots, any class, don't care what they look like. Special perk tho: iron grounded: nothing can move you from your position. (Added this cause it's gotten a little silly lining up a shot only for a teammate to bump into you at the last second)(and pushing people off cliffs, but that's kinda fun)

Name: "The Rapid Reaper 1427" Description: "Third times the charm" Type: Handcannon Stats Maximum fire rate High impact Medium range Medium stability Fast reload Mag:12 Bonus perks(the perks that are below the element type that are all ready unlocked when you get the gun ex fan fire, fully auto, etc.): hair trigger, burst fire (this gun will shoot 3 rounds per trigger pull) Perks: Your standard 3 barrel perks for stability, range and impact, Outlaw, middle tree: counterbalance, field scout, send it, Exotic perk "The Reaper": the 3 rounds in the burst do increase in damage, with X2 damage for 1st bullet in the burst, X3 Damage with the 2nd bullet and X4 with 3rd bullet in the burst. Cosmetically it would be a black cyberpunk handcannon with high tec iron sights and have 3 pipes on each side of the barrel with electric smoke coming out of them and electric blue fire comes out when you shoot the weapon.

Name: the travelers wish. Rarity: basic-uncommon-rare-legendary-exotic. You need to evolve the first gun to exotic with rare items obtained through vendors. All perks are disabled until legendary rarity. Same perks as exotic except exotic perk replacing spray and play. First perk: third eye Perk tree/skill tree: perfect balance, hammer forged, field scout. Exotic form is SUROS without lowered fire rate. Special perk: extinction of the dark. Fires lasers instead of bullets, slowly heals health after a kill, hip fire is dead accurate and damage to all minions of darkness doubles when maxed out. It seems op but it takes a total of 10 exotic shards to max it out

This is an idea for a new heavy weapon class. There is only exotics in them though. Annihilator: beam cannon. Description: with a pull of a trigger, the enemy was in two. Stats: charge rate: 5 Beam Density: 100 Beam Diameter: 30 Stability: 50 Range: 100 Reload: 5 Mag size: 100 (volts. Eats up 3 per second. Has one extra battery) Perks: arc damage Beam causes enemies to explode upon death. Exotic upgrade: annihilator: explosions that kill enemies spawn cluster bombs. This weapon would not be the best option in pvp as it causes the player to have very little mobility, but is supposed to annihilate crowds, and bosses.

Name: The Crossovers Type: Boots. Have the Star of David on the left and right side of the boots and look like the VoG boots. 1st Perk: Increased heavy ammo. Exotic Perk: Increases the stat of your choice by 3. Armor, Agility, and Recovery.

It's gonna kill us!"~ Unknown Man from an island in the Pacific Ocean Description: A fusion rifle with scales (green or grey) and asymmetric spinal plates growing out of the top of the weapon. The sights are made of two spinal plates (similar to Murmer). When charging, the sound of inhaling can be heard from the gun. Attributes: Solar Damage. Slow Rate of Fire. High Impact. Medium Stability. Medium/High Reload. Four Round Magazine; two rounds per shot. Initial Upgrades: Fusion Rifle Ballistics line. Outlaw as primary upgrade. The three upgrades are Rangefinder, Firefly, and Hairtrigger/Accelerated Coils. Exotic Upgrade: That Big Lizard's Breath Fires a medium range beam instead of a burst of multiple bolts of plasma.

Name: An Old Friend Description: Every time you pick up this gun you can't but help feeling that it is somehow... Familiar! Appearance: an old rusty tactical shotgun with no stock and lots of rails on it. There is still old rusted bullets clipped to the side and somebody's faded initials are scratched into the handle. Attributes: Impact: High Range: Average Stability: Average Reload: High Magazine: 7 Exotic Perk: "The Old Fashioned Way" when you melee with this gun equipped you wak them with this but of the gun causing more damage than the average melee.

Hand cannon: The thunderous "The sound of thunder echoed over the mountains as he slay countless enemies. Each being ripped apart by the impact of each round Impact: maxed O.O (with upgrade. 91 stock) Rate of fire: 20 Stability:50 Range:50 Reload speed:50 Magazine: 9 Exotic Upgrade: arc fury: causes each round to do more damage to arc shields, enemies using arc weapons, and causes a small burst of arc damage on all enemies. Upgrades: Hammer forged/counterbalance/field scout Heavy hitter: impact is increased by nine. Each round sounds like a lightning strike when fired. Scout rifle one: The second strike "Lightning never strikes twice... Does it?" Stats: average range, very high stability (90) average impact, a mag size of 20, fast reload speed, fast rate of fire. Upgrades: Rate of fire on/off causing damage with this weapon increases stability and rate of fire. Counterbalance/hammer forged/field scout Second strike: hitting an enemy with two shots in a row causes the enemy to be the epicenter of an arc explosion damaging it severely, and also nearby enemies. Looks similar to lightning shooting from the enemy. Scout rifle two: Freezing rain. "It's like the enemies are trapped in a blanket of ice. Now they know how we used to feel. Make them feel the rest of that, and rip them apart..." Exotic upgrade: enemies near you in pve do less melee damage, and move slower. In crucible, enemies fire at a slower rate of fire. Stats: more range , stability, slightly more impact, and mag size than the badger ccl plus is an exotic. Upgrades: this kills with this weapon grants more impact. Hand loaded/counterbalance/armor piercing rounds stagger targets. Okay primary exotics done. Want the rest? I already wrote the most powerful and rare of them all (more powerful and slightly more rare than the jelly horn) called storm. I call this the storm series because it was the first one I made for a request to make up a rocket launcher greater than or equal to gjallarhorn. Those stats on it though. Low rate of fire m, big boom and velocity in terms of stats. I'll give you the rest hopefully someday. I just don't want to be doing this typing and have no one read this. Every weapon class (as in slot) will be its own post I occasionally edit.

Type:Sniper Rifle Exotic Upgrade: Out Of Left Field-Weapon does 2Xcritical damage Upgrades: Critically Wounded- Critical hits cause 10% of weapon damage over 15 seconds Foul Ball-If you miss the third shot in this weapon it is returned to the magazine. Outing-If you rapidly kill three enemies with this weapon you get three rounds to your reserve ammunition. The weapon could look like more or less like a typical long sniper rifle but be upholstered in baseball leather and stitching with maple wood furnishings. Has a 3 round magazine (three strikes you're out!!!) The Scope would have an ammo count (three "X"s in top middle that light up red as you fire and possibly a long range radar in the shape of a baseball diamond in bottom right that shows distant enemies only. Solar burn but can switch to"Night Game" to make it void. Name: Cloak and Dagger Description: "All clear!" -Famous Last Words Type: Scout Rifle Exotic Upgrade: Dagger and Cloak- Become cloaked for a short time upon getting a kill with this weapon. Upgrades: Denizen of the Night/Nighty Night- This weapon gets a bonus to damage range and accuracy at night. Single Point Sling Send It Silence-A suppressor is affixed to the barrel making the weapon report more quiet and enemies less likely to target you when there are other targets around. (Firing this weapon with suppressor on will not disrupt cloak) When you aim in with this weapon it becomes invisible (the weapon not the user) but the reticle remains visible allowing for greater situational awareness. When visible the weapon would be nearly jet black and have a longer than normal barrel with a low zoom scope.

Attributes: One rocket per magazine, with decent blast radius and high(ish) velocity. Each rocket is actually a bundle of three, or one for each damage type. It deals, say, 1.5 ish times a normal rocket's damage. Initial Upgrades: ? Exotic Upgrade: The Perfect Storm: Rockets have SLIGHT tracking (just enough to adjust if an enemy moves a bit), and upon impact, the three rockets split apart and fall to the ground, dealing three circles of AoE damage, forming a rough triangle with each "side" being one damage type. The trick is, the rockets fall far enough away from the initial target that it is only slightly damaged, if at all. The split is for crowd control.

This is my armor series now: This helmet is designed to be amazing, but super rare. Gjallarhorn of helmets is the idea, and then some Warlock helmet: quantum physics "According to quantum physics, there is a slight probability that if I were to throw an object at this wall, it would go through the wall." Special perk: able to shoot through walls and see enemies through walls (binds to pressing one of the joysticks) but shooting them costs a small amount of health for every bullet. Decreased grenade and super cool down Intellect: 70 Discipline:70

Seemingly molded from volcanic ash and obsidian, a magma glow emits from this weapon. Statistically, Unmake The Heavens has an extremely high velocity and blast radius. It's reload speed, however, is extremely low as its rate of fire. There can only be one rocket in the tube (unless Clown Cartridge triggers). Ring Of Fire Solar Rocket launcher (I know there are too many solar exotics...
