Exotic Maker. Perk Maker. Sublcass Maker

Edit 7/25: For people having trouble with ideas, here's two themes that may help. Theme #1 Class specific exotics: in the taken king, we're suppose to be getting some. Let's see what you guys can come up with. Theme #2 Toxotics: this is basically an exotic with an amazing perk but it is also hurts you somehow. Not really doing a competition because I'm very inconsistent. Edit 7/24: Glad to see we're getting some traffic going again. I've decided to change what this forum is about. I want it to be a creation outlet for everyone to share their ideas, not just for exotic gear. Hopefully you guys like the change. I'll try and include some examples. Edit 6/11: Wow, I'm surprised that people actually want this forum to stay alive. I'm sorry for being silent for so long so I've responded to a couple of posts. I'll try and respond to anyone else that adds something. Also I'm going to look for the list of exotics that I have from the last competition. I'll post it when I find it. Design: a normal hunter helmet with a white smiling mask surrounds the front of the helmet. Attributes: Strength Upgrades: melee attack speed, orbs regen melee energy Exotic upgrade: Dancing Joker- the gunslingers throwing knife leaves a dancing after image of the guardian on the spot that it is thrown and lasts 8 seconds. In pve, they take aggro from enemies. In pvp they show up on the radar as enemies.[/spoiler] Striker [spoiler]Name: Rulers Helm Type: Titan helmet Description: When faced against the will of a king, one must ask, "How do I repent?" Design: Golden helm with a crown melted into the top. Attributes: Intellect Upgrades: Grenades give more super energy, killing minions of the darkness grant more super energy Exotic Upgrade: Monarch's Wrath- Fist of havoc does more damage and kills with your super grant the titan an armor of light that lasts 5 seconds.[/spoiler] Void walker [spoiler]Name: Abyss Gravity Type: warlock helm Description: Return to me... Design: a grey warlock helm with small void particles surrounding it. Attributes: Intellect, discipline Upgrades: melee hits replenish grenade energy, more super energy from genade kills Exotic Upgrade: Abyss Gravity- vortex grenades and nova bomb have an increased radius for their damaging fields. They also have a strong singularity effect that pulls people in its radius to the the center. [/spoiler] Sun singer [spoiler]Name: Flight of Hermes Type: Warlock boots Description: True freedom is only known to the sky's. Design: Navy blue pants with large golden wings on the outer left and right side of the feet. Attributes: Discipline Upgrades: heavy ammo, speed reload primaries Exotic upgrade: Flight-extends the duration of angel of light. Grants a speed boost and better control while airborne.[/spoiler] Defender [spoiler]Name: Dynamo Luminescent Type: Titan chest Description: Bring forth the light. Design: A dark blue armor piece with an orb of light inside the chest and two small ones on both shoulders. Attributes: Intellect, Discipline Upgrades: bonus special ammo, reload speed for pulse rifles Exotic upgrade: Light Giver-Gift of light(orb gens with force barrier kills), gift of the void(damage to ward dawn gens orbs), and iron harvest(chance for orbs with heavy kills) are free perks. Design: boxing gloves Attributes: strength Upgrades: melee speed, grenade hits give melee energy Exotic: gives striker storm fist a stun ability as well as a knock back effect. [/spoiler] [spoiler]Name: Breacher's Gauntlets Type: hunter gauntlets Description: Knock Knock.... Design: bullets up and down the sleeves with grenades around the shoulder Attributes: Discipline Upgrades:orbs replenish health, melee replenishes grenade energy Exotic upgrade: Specialist- Doubles the amount of clusters from Swarm and Skip grenades. Low rate of fire Very high impact Medium stability Low range Slow reload Magazine: 6 Perk 1: Luck in the chamber Perk tree: snapshot, hidden hand, or extended mag Exotic perk: Fate: this weapon when fired, hurts you but does bonus damage+bleeding damage to enemies. If the target dies then health is recovered.

                Bloody Knuckles - Exotic Shotgun "You're going to need some gloves for those" Exotic Perk - Bloody Knuckles: This weapon switches elements based on your equipped class, and one random bullet in the magazine triggers your melee ability without consuming a charge. Perks: Cocoon - When stowed away for a short time, automatically reload this weapon Rangefinder - When zoomed in, increases the range of this weapon. Stats: Impact - 35 Range - 15 Rate of Fire - 40 Reload Speed - 5 Stability - 30 Mag Size - 5 Element - Kinetic (by default) Bonus perk - (I forgot) hits with this weapon grant 25% bonus melee damage for a short time. Will work well with these:[spoiler][quote]The Impalers (gloves) Not class specific "Spikes are pretty cool, right?"                           Warlock subclass: soul splitter Obtained by defeating oryx on hard mode Super: screams of sorrow- all enemies (not including enemies with shields or major/ultra enemies) around you are sucked in and used as energy for a bomb you can unleash around you during the duration of the super. Melee: Consume- deals additional damage. if you kill the enemy it spawns a decoy of you self that can take hits or lasts for 10 seconds Grenade: suction grenade- grenade that sticks to an enemy, detonates, then makes a magnetic pull toward that location while doing damage Necrotic grenade- grenade that summons 4 fast moving mini cursed thralls, do about 1/3 of guardians health, they can be shot and destroyed, but in over the enemies won't target them. Vestige grenade- spawns a vestige like the Wizards spawn is a little bigger and does the same amount of damage.

                          • Name: The Unknown Legend Type: Heavy Sniper Rifle Description: "They say there was a sniper at the gap, he is the one who thinned the ranks and made it possible for our legends to succeed. He is the one who should be homered, he is legend." -Unknown This sniper rifle would be void damage and would be able to one shot body shot in the crucible. It's special exotic perk would be called "True Legend," and would unleash a barrage of Wolfpack rounds on a precision hit. This would encourage Precision sniping in PVP and PVE.

Appearance: Gauntlets that are invisible at all times. Exotic Perk: Slight of hand, Slips one extra rocket/heavy machine gun ammo pack/sword swing out of heavy ammo packs both in the crucible and in the field. Secondary Perk: Reload heavy weapons faster.

                              Name: The Nova Rifle Type: Auto rifle Damage: void Description: A small group of warlocks created this weapon by sealing some of the energy of the void inside the chamber. Perks: 1. High fire rate, medium impact, medium-low range, high stability, 150 shot mag 2. You don't ever reload, all ammo goes to the magazine. Ammo regenerates over time like icebreaker and kills accelerate ammo regeneration. 3. Shots over penetrate targets with reduced damage. 4. Precision kills slightly reduce cooldown for all abilities. Design: Black and white auto rifle with purple light shining out of the barrel. Shots fired are bright purple and gunfire sounds similar to hard light.

                                Toxotic sword: '[i]An Elegant Weapon...'[/i] Design: looks coincidentally like a light saber, with a murmur-like perk in which you can change the color and corresponding damage type. Haven't used swords yet so I have no idea what secondary perks it would have. Main perk: ...[i]From a simpler time[/i]: Blocking has an extremely high chance to reflect all damage back at the enemy (~95%), but double damage taken from behind and sides

                              • Warlock Subclass: Naturebound Super: unleash a tornado that does minor damage to enemies but heals your teammates when near Howling wind: punches with howling wind can heal yourself and punching a teammate will heal them.

I just call it knowledge. -Cayde-6 Design: pure white helmet with dark glasslike plates over eyes and mouth and a small antenna above the left ear, with gray detail added in. Attributes: Intellect Upgrades: slot 1- melee kills charge super energy OR grenade kills charge super energy; slot 2- grenade hits charge melee energy OR melee hits charge grenade energy Toxotic upgrade: Sharp Eyes- provides an upgraded version of keen scout which causes all enemies to show up as exact positions on you and your allies' radar, increases damage vs marked enemies and allows you to shoot while sprinting, but, in exchange, whenever your shields are brought completely down, you lose 1/8 of your current super energy. Game text: [i]Grants a greatly improved Keen Scout perk in exchange for a loss of super energy when your shields fall[/i] Name: Blazing Guns Type: Hunter Toxotic Gloves Description: Sometimes what you need is a 44-caliber( or idk what a actual number would be) put in between somebody's ears from 400 meters. Other times, you just need to shoot somebody as many times as possible. Design: Bronze metallic gloves with silver and black lines going down them, ending in black hands with silver fingers. Attributes: Discipline Upgrades: Slot 1- hip fire shots deal more damage OR hip fire shots are more accurate Slot 2- increased reload speed with hand cannons OR increased reload speed with sidearms Toxotic Upgrade: Can dual wield hand cannons and sidearms, plus increased mag size, range, accuracy and reload speed for both, plus gives random chance for Crits on body shots, but you can't aim down sight Game text:[i]Grants dual wielding plus a stat boost for handcannons and sidearms in exchange for the ability to Aim Down Signt[/i] Name: Chameleon Steppers Type: Hunter Toxotic Boots Description: In order to master the art of disguise, you must look to its roots. Design: base dark green boot with a glittering spiral pattern but it constantly change color and pattern Attributes: intellect, strength Upgrades: slot 1- carry more heavy ammo OR carry more special and primary ammo Slot 2- increased move speed OR less increased overall Agility Toxotic Upgrade: gain instant invisibility whenever you aren't moving, which becomes harder to see the longer you stay still, eventually becoming total invisibility, hides lens flares and keeps you off radar when invisible, and increases damage while invisible, but you have much less armor while invisible, and moving reveals you, unless it's a very slow walk in which case you look cloaked like a normal invisibility person Game text:[i]Gain instant and greatly improved invisibility when you are standing still, but become defenseless while invisible[/i] What do you think? I have a chest piece I'll add in the morning. I'm trying to make a set where subclass doesn't matter, so the helmet applies no matter your subclass, similarly to Khepri

                              • Name: Death+er (Death adder, like the snake) Type: Hunter Gauntlets Description: [i]...It was too late, the snakes blades had already pierced...[/i] Design: Chrome colored gauntlets with a glowing red snake design endinging on the top of the hand. There are shurikens on the sides of the gauntlets. Attributes: Strength Upgrades: increased strength, increased primary weapon reload speed Exotic upgrade: "Death Adder"; throwing knife is replaced with a shuriken that does less body damage (precision damage does not change) in exchange for significantly increased travel speeds and no drop. Incendiary blade perk is provided.
