Dragons breath is only good to 1 shot the shrieker
That's it
It doesn't have tracking. This may sound like a noob answer but in a sword weilder and the thing i hate the most is when a rocket Flys past crota and then I inspect some one and they're using a fu'cking dragons breath...
People who try to dismiss gjallarhorn in anyway are in denial that it's the strongest and most resourceful weapon in the game

In my opinion Ice Breaker is better. More situations where it is very useful. You can't argue with regenerating ammo that can hit as hard as a rocket on critical hits. Rocket Synths are expensive, ammo drops less often, and you only ever see Gjallarhorn in boss fights or toughened targets. Sorry man. Most powerful weapon? Absolutely. Most resourceful? Nope. You're smoking crack man.

In 9 out of 10 of those situations people claiming this or that RL is better in some way than Gjallarhorn its because the don't have it yet and get angry at the Gjally love. ALso the thrall maze - thrallway use he listed as clearing thralls and offering a few seconds of protection....umm yeah EVERY CLASS HAS AN AOE grenade, it does the same thing offers up a few seconds of relief from thralls and is suited great for dropping near the lamps while your team drops weight and clears tagging thrall mobs. NO reason to waste a RL heavy here when every class literally has multiple options for AOE protection around your teammates.

You play with people who can't hit Crota with a non-tracking rocket? He's fkn 30 ft tall ffs.

No doubt. He's pretty hard to miss. I prefer Hunger of Crota or Gally personally but other launchers can and WILL hit him if the shooter AIMS the darn thing.
