I used mine for solar purposes until I got HoC which frees up a exotic weapon to be used elsewhere. For that reason alone I really like HoC as I believe HoC and IB are a better combo than any that can be used with an exotic RL equipped.

Black hammer, Ghorn.. best combo ever I would imagine... And I don't have ghorn

I disagree because the BH is only good if you can land 3 precision shots rapidly. Some people can but most people can't. When it comes to a boss or ogres, knights, and other mobs which are easy precision targets then sure, but the HoC is only a step or two behind Ghorn and the IB is a few steps ahead of the BH.

HoC is not even close to Gjallarhorn. Most cluster bombs miss, and each extra round of wolfpack does nearly as much damage as every cluster bomb combined. And Black Hammer and IB are closer than you think. For most bosses, BH gets the edge. More impact, better sights, recoil. This is coming from someone who's praised IB since the first time he sold it. IB is the most useful exotic, hands down.
