Loot caves are useless, did you know they patched the patrol engram drop rate some time ago? The probability of getting a legendary engram from loot caves is so small that it is not worth the trouble. You are better off doing ROC strikes which has a higher chance of giving you legendary engrams and ships (I got 3 legendary engrams myself last weekend doing ROC strikes for about an hour).
