No. "I don't like Katy Perry so I don't want anyone else talking about her". Does that statement hold enough merit to ban you talking about Katy Perry? Bungie didn't lift the ban and expect us not to talk about it. If you don't like the subject don't partake in it's discussion. Wow! Would you look at that! By simply not joining the conversation you don't have to be a part of it! Who would have known that you had the freedom to partake or not to? "I don't like the taste of oranges so super markets should not be allowed to sell them". No one is forcing you to buy oranges. Oranges are there IF YOU CHOOSE to purchase them.

  • I don't partake in them, aside from one or two times I've given my two cents in a religious thread. Although, I think it's a bit of a problem if it stirs a constant shitfest in the Flood on a day-to-day basis. Nevertheless, your opinion is your own to express, which is why I made this thread, to hear the communities response.

Another tool given was the mute option. If two individuals are getting riled up they can simply ignore each other. But just because some people can't control themselves we have to take away the ability to partake from everybody? Sorry if I was a bit aggressive in my last post, I meant no offense.

  • It's okay, no hard feels. Personally I don't like muting people. Because then I feel the people who I'd mute have succeeded in their trolling.

  • So then on an ethnic debate. Is it better to be shielded and limited, or scarred and limitless? It sounds like a one sided question, but let's actually discuss it with both being equally viable, till one through debate is chosen as the better.
