Ok, so when my friend had gotten a legendary engram drop I had gotten a revolutionary idea. Imagine this. A game mode where it is a free-for-all, similar to rumble, but here's the catch. A purple engram. Once the game starts a purple will randomly spawn in somewhere on the map. Then, all guardians make haste towards it. To keep the engram, you must be holding it at the end of the game (or hold it for the longest time). I'm not sure if it should be more like oddball in Halo, where you can't shoot whilst holding it, but can only melee, or if it should just jump into some "quick-hold" inventory slot, and you'd be able to shoot leaving you with more defensive options. After the match ends, the victor then gets to keep the engram!! Some might say this is too unfair, because low level people with skill will actually be able to get legendaries, but I think it would be a great addition to the Crucible Playlists!
