Not sure what you are doing but get the thing to lvl New Monarchy, run the crap out of bounties and ROC strikes. At the very least ROC strikes will give you engrams, sever times legendary, and might have a Red Hand XI drop. I have had 2 so far. One from lvl New Monarchy, and one from a legendary drop.

Thanks! I will try this. I have yet to get another legendary primary engram, but I will hope for the best.

I would love a legendary pulse rifle - Ive only ever gotten 1 legendary drop and thats the payback auto rifle - its awesome but not the best at long range
