This idea leaves out 80% of the playerbase (The people that don't raid).
I'm sorry, I don't like raiding, I don't want to raid, but I do like to do nightfalls, weekly strikes and daily stories. Are you saying I shouldn't be allowed?

Vangaurd light 21 21 vangaurd 21 vangaurd 21 vangaurd 33 exotic 99 total That's level 28. The nightfall before dark below was 28 After the dark below 21 21 21 42 exotic 105 light That's level 29. With no raid gear. If you honestly have no interest whatsoever in doing the raids, which is the entire focus of this game if you haven't noticed, I'm sorry.

And it's the main focus, and crotas end hard is 33 but the level cap is32 so you're under leveled but you don't hear us crying about it. Stop being a baby dude.

Okay, you have a very valid point and it may be that he didn't take that into consideration. It didn't cross [u]my[/u] mind to think about the nightfall/weeklies and I liked the idea (except the drop rates plummeting even further) until you brought up that point. It's also people who hate on others that ruin communities you know. Now, ways to deal with the nightfall could be to lower the level of nightfalls so everyone has the chance to do it, or if they wanted to push for raids (I know, it's not nice to push raids on people) they could have it slightly higher than regular gear can get you (two levels higher or so) so that you [u]have[/u] to raid, even just a little bit. And to give a fair shake at people who raided a lot they could have a separate playlist for the nightfall/weeklies with the only differences being level and the loot table changes from ascended materials to radiant materials.

You don't like raiding? That's the entire point of this game is raiding... The game is built around leveling up and gearing up to run the raid and defeat the final boss. If you don't like that maybe this game isn't for you. So far it looks like you will continue to get your way and destiny will always let you level up through the vanguard to get another level up, I'm glad crotas end hard mode is level 34 enemies, keeps out the rifraff

When everyone is special no one is. Not everybody gets to have the best gear, otherwise it's nothing special. Games of this nature typically drop expansions and without them you can't even play the game at all anymore, be lucky ppl get to keepnplaying online without the expansion. Developers have payroll, expansions pay the payroll. Don tg buy the dlc, don't get included in the future content. It's simple mmorpg economics. Be glad this game doesn't come with a monthly subscription service fee on top of the expansions. You're an entitled whiner who wants everything handed to you in a competitive game. This isn't borderlands where you get to play by yourself and get all the cool stuff by looking up how to do it online and finding all of the cool secret weapons. It's a competitive online multi-player rpg. The destiny community is awesome. Whiners like you are the problem

Reply to me and I will do the light level math for you so you can see that with my method less people will be left out of things than under the current system

this has NOTHING to do with gear. This has to do with the ability to enjoy the activities in the game. If I'm under-leveled for everything, I'm not able to enjoy NON-raiding activities. Raiding is not a prerequisite to end game, it's the final test. I already understand that I don't have the best weapons and armor, and I'm ok with it. The only thing I'm worried about is level. Raid gear still out levels vendor gear, and raid primaries are generally better than vendor primaries.
