Go to settings - screen options - white wash
There will be an option where the TV basically bleaches it's plasma cells with a white image for 30 mins or so. If your that worried...
Plus by just watching TV it will disappear

Agreed. Two weeks in and it has gotten lighter but on off white backgrounds, it looks like a darkish pinkish outline of a gun with the super line above it. Makes me sick to my stomach to see it. I've been running static for 60-90 minutes at a time hoping it makes a difference.

You probably only notice it after you have been playing destiny though, right? If you turn on your TV is it there? If it's only after you played the game, totally understandable to have a mark left over. Maybe turn now the backlight on the TV but the brightness up on the game to balance It that could help.

I've been trying with only slight improvement. I feel like this will be there for a long time before it fades into obscurity.
