This is very true. If you own a plasma, be extra careful. My 6 month old Samsung F8500 experienced Destiny burn in and I ultimately had to get rid of it.

  • That Samsung breaking might not be Destiny's fault. Mine broke too and after some digging I found out that the mother board in the tv is extremely weak. Alot of people had their tv's break and find out that it was the mother board that broke. How exactly did it happen for you ?

  • Interesting...after a few weeks of some long Destiny sessions, I noticed that parts of the HUD had faintly burned into the screen. You couldn't see it when watching TV most of the time, but annoying regardless. I tried to get rid of the burn for weeks, but no luck. Luckily, the Samsung rep (who knew I was a gamer when I bought the TV) agreed to exchange the TV for something a lot less susceptible to burn in.
