Point was you probably left it on toovmany times while you werent actually playing. Still images are the only way it happens, there is still background images moving behind and inbetween display when you move making the image not burn in

Unfortunately that's not true in this case. If i frequently left my tv on and not using it this would have happened with the millions of other games I've played. The problem is the super bar when ita filling and full is solid and bright white and yellow. The gun symbols are completely solid and bright white. The grenade and melee symbols are only solid when full so they're slightly less of an issue. It's a problem with Destiny's HUD design.
