For the record burn in is exceedingly difficult to do. Only way I could see that happening is if you're patrolling for hours at a time....or just somehow bypassing idle detection.

It very well could be some serious image retention. Still has me worried though. Worried to the point where Destiny won't be going back into my disk drive anytime soon. It's a shame, I enjoy the game. But it's not worth my tv. No other game has made me make that choice.

It's the same risk as any other game with a hud, besides when I'm idle and forget to shut off my tv the goes into an energy conservation/burn protection mode. I really can't see how that happened or how that can legitimately happen on more than .5% or less users.
