Love side scrollers. I really enjoyed Child of Light, too. Ori will be a definite.

Oh, I've been meaning to check that out, how is that game?

Well you have to be into touching, poetic stories. All of the dialogue is rhymed. It's classic turnbased-ish RPG combat and level progression. Well worth it IMO if you dig that sorta thing. I get into game art and music, too. The entire game was hand painted in watercolor so it's stunning. The music is also well done.

Muramasa - The Demon Blade, and Okami, both hand painted artwork - I believe. I'm a fan of painted artwork. And I've played Metroid Prime, w Samus Aran, is that similar to Shadow Complex?

Well, shadow complex is pure side scroller. No 3D stuff like Prime. I refer to Super Metroid because of the great weapons and suit power-ups. Shadow Complex is incredibly entertaining. Lots of cool secrets to unlock and figure out. The guns are all fun so it's really cool when you get a new one.

There's an Arcade Game called Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet. Very cool weapons and device upgrades. Side scroller, and great graphics! You might like that (:
